The price of the hotel is quite OK for New York. The room is a mini suite wit kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. We had an issue with the toilets but they fixed it quickly. They have a private parking, which is good for NY but it does cost 42$ per day. Very close from the ONU and quite... more

Transportation (bus) on the corner, taxis usually out front. Small lobby and front desk with friendly staff. Three elevator banks for quick service. Top floor bar and restaurant open for breakfast and dinner - great all around view! Guest laundry coin operated in basement; fitness and business center on 2nd floor accessible with electronic room key (card) only. Wireless internet... more

We booked this hotel at a discount site, looking for a place in Manhattan with kitchen facilities (hate having to go out for breakfast). We read some reviews stating how run-down or disappointing this hotel is. We were prepared for the worst, having been very disappointed in our last hotel (in London). When we arrived, the check-in staff were very... more

We last stayed in the Beekman two years ago. It was a bit run-down in places, but the room was good and clean and we had a fuss-free stay. We were very pleased to be returning, and were excited when we arrived. That feeling quickly evaporated. The room we were given was really shabby and tired. It's possible it hadn't... more

We have been in this hotel for a week in May09. This was our second trip to NYC. Last year we stayed in New Jersey and transfer was a nightmare, so this location made a huge difference. It takes about 10-15 min to walk to Rockefeller Centre, if you take a bus at 49th St., you will get to Times... more

I was there for a conference in the UN. This was a minute's walk away from the UN building. It has amazing rooms. They're massive. you have a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and an ironing room. Its a whole apartment. 15 minutes walk to the times square. The view from the top of the tower is amazing. There... more

This is supposed to be a 3 1/2 star hotel, but the bed in my room would have embarrassed a zero star hotel. Also, the overnight temperature in New York City on the night of my stay was in the high 30's, even though this was in May, and there was no heat in the room. I spent an uncomfortable... more

The location is great if you are visiting the United Nations, otherwise it's a bit of a hike to the subways on Lexington Avenue, Overall though it's a great value. I was expecting a small room with a bath for the price I paid. What I got was a full suite with a large living space, a bedroom, two closets,... more

We loved the Beekman Tower and consider it the best value for money that we have had for anything while in Manhattan: for just over US$ 200 including taxes per night, we were given a complete apartment including full bathroom and kitchen, dining, living and separate bedroom. In a city where most people seem to live in a matchbox, we... more
