I stayed here for several weeks in June this year, we were two 23 year old girls attracted by the idea of the location, roof top bar and the pool parties, which were fun. I had a studio suite which was large and spacious, with nice toiletries and a nice seating area for drinks etc.The bed was really big, comfortable... More

This was my first time staying at the Thompson, I really liked it. The hotel is hip, the rooms are sleek and a decent size for New York. I know another reviewer mentioned the water pressure, this was one thing I remembered vividly - it was AMAZING. The rainwater shower was pretty great - perfect way to start my day.... More

We really enjoyed our first visit, but last time it was not ok. There were a couple of maintenance issues that were eventually resolved (shower pressure, TV....) but what was most shocking was that they lost our driver's license when we checked in and did not seem too concerned. We only noticed once in the room and called and did... More

Gorgeous hotel, great location in the East Village. Went there for drinks at their outdoor patio overlooking Allen Street. The rooftop patio bar doesn't open until 11 pm, so we weren't able to go there, but they were kind enough to show us around. This will definitely be on my list of must-see places on my next visit to NYC.

This was my first trip to NYC. My Wife and I stayed there for a business trip in LES. A bunch of people I work with had booked the Thompson LES and recommended I stay there. I was hesitant booking another THompson Hotel after the horrible service and all night club atmosphere of the Thompson in Hollywood. Man was I... More

Nice pool good view up the island towards midtown. Blue ribbon sushi, always good to know. Reccomended for a good cocktail and either the terrace or rooftop. Good location cant beat the lower east side nice staff.

The bold industrial decor of the room is very contemporary ad won't suit everyone's taste but if you enjoy design or fashion, this would be a good choice. It's clear from the other guests staying here that it was the choice of the young and hip. The floor to ceiling windows are striking and provide an interesting view of NYC.... More

Let me start by talking about the neighborhood. Les Thompson is situated in the Lower East Side, very different to what you see in the movies! Mostly uni students, so very alternative. If you want to experience 'real' New York then stay here. Hotel is lovely and new, we did not eat at their restaurant (they have 2) but we... More

. We were charged for unconsumed minibar food, and literally I had to send 8 emails and made 4 phone calls to talk with the manager. THe only thing that I could have from this effort was iit was impossible to get refund as she believed someone in the room did consumed the food and that was it. I was... More

This is a great hotel with kind staff members and fabo amenities. I recently stayed here with my friends for the weekend while in town celebrating a 30th birthday. We picked this hotel primarily due to location and it's proximity to our activiites, but I was pleasantly surprised at well we were treated. The staff at the front desk was... More
