The staff were excellent. Helpful, friendly & responsive. The queen room could use more storage space. Had to ask for washcloths several days but received them immediately. Live the area, staff & hotel. We will return.

Stayed at the end of march for 5 nights, we were lucky to get a free upgrade. Fabulous Room, helpful staff and a great location. The subway is just across the road so getting around New York was easy. We loved the lower east side and it's the first time we stayed in that neighbourhood. It was great to be... More

Really cool hotel in a great location. Staff are fabulous - especially the doormen. Very close to SoHo if you want to be within striking distance of that part of town. Lots of restaurants and bars within metres of the hotel. Subway stop across the road and very easy access to JFK

I travel very often to NYC for business, and this is from far the best hotel I've stayed in that price range. The rooms are clean, quiet, the service is impeccable, the dorrmen are very attentive. Special mention to Fatou, at the reception, for her very kind welcoming.

Imagine the sort of hangout trust fund hipsters flock to for a staycation – mid-week, of course, because they are sans job – and you will have an acute sense of everything that is Sixty LES. Upon a recent visit over the summer, the poolside banter between two twenty-something Prada-clad gents revolved around ‘conceptual’ screenplay ideas and how they could... More

We stayed at the Sixty LES for a combination work and leisure trip. Upon entering the lobby, it may seem a bit small, but just behind the front desk are stairs up to another public area and bar/restaurant. Elevators are quick and efficient. Our room was on the 11th floor and facing out over Allen St. The bed was low... More

Friendly staff. Attentive doormen. Room was very nice with a balcony offering great views! Great sushi restaurant. I used the spa and gym. Clean and well maintained. The neighborhood offers wonderful ambience. Coffee shops, cafés and shops.

We loved everything about this place. It was very comfortable and we were grateful to receive a room upgrade for our anniversary to a very spacious room by NY standards. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The only reason we gave it a 3 for cleanliness was due to dust in air vent, otherwise room was very clean. Bed was... More

First, before I say anything else, I must say that the staff at this hotel is terrific. They handled the problems I encountered in the room promptly and professionally. Everyone else, including the bar tenders and doormen were also amazing. I booked on hotel tonight and chose this hotel because it had a pool and was in a good location... More

Stayed here in May 2014 with the family. If you appreciate modern architecture and style - look no further. This is a very hip hotel. The room was clean. The shower was huge. They gave us a baby tub and he had fun splashing in the shower with us :) The location is good - but it is the Lower... More
