My husband and I booked a 5 night stay in New York for a 60th birthday celebration. The hotel was lovely. The staff were really friendly especially Mr D NIcholls. I emailed the general manager Ms McDermid about our holiday and told her it was for my husband and our 35th wedding anniversary she put me in touch with Mr... More

Stayed for a Sat night. I am docking a star because they charge for internet. So does the Waldorf but at least at the Waldorf guests have free internet in the lobby. The room was small, tiny when compared to the Waldorf. The Concierge did not realize it was Passover when she recommended 2nd Ave deli. After walking 15mins to... More

The hotel is comfortable and convenient. The elevators were very small and slow. You must be very quick to get your room key and in order to make the elevators go to your floor. The rooms are clean and comfortable and certainly are well-appointed. The bathroom on the other hand, was so small I barely fit in it. I am... More

I stayed here this past weekend. The front desk staff was very helpful and gave me a 3pm checkout time because my flight wasn't leaving until that evening. I stayed in a "cozy queen" room, which is pretty small but fine for one person. The hotel was pretty quiet. The only noise was from the street below (I requested a... More

I came up with my wife over the weekend to take in a show and stayed on for business meetings (3 nights total). That's a long time when you don't like your room. It's so dark that it's hard to work, the bathroom was very odd and drafty (cold) and the strange tiny shower did not have a curtain that... More

We stayed here last weekend. The room was nice, clean and a great location. When we were packing up to leave I noticed that one of my shirts had gone missing. It wasn't anywhere in the room and when I went down to check out I asked the hotel staff to see if someone in housekeeping had picked it up... More

Great location, friendly staff, room was very clean and comfy (small but we only slept in it who cares) The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet even on a Friday night... Walking distance to Midtown attractions... Love the W!

Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location. We had a gorgeous, spacious room (especially for NYC) with an unbelievable comfy bed. The room had all the mod cons and impeccable design. Considering the location we had a very peaceful nights sleep. Definitely worth a stay if you like a hip, cool ambient...

I stayed at this hotel for a full two weeks out of the convenience of my client location for work. The rooms were smaller (which I expected in NYC) and not very clean. I had stains on the shower curtains and the bathroom floor was a little dirty. The set up was nice though just not up to my liking.... More

We chose the home due to its location. A quick work to fifth avenue, not far from central park and on a good subway line to Brooklyn. The room was very nice, comfy bed etc. Only one downside with the room was the shower, which wasn't as powerful as one would wish, or as easy to use. However you don't... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
