We stayed at The Time at the end of November and had a fantastic stay. We had a yellow king de-luxe on the 11th floor. I had done a lot of research on New York hotel rooms and I was pleased with our room. How people can fault the cleanliness is beyond me. Our room was spotless, the decor I... More

The Time is definitely not what it used to be when I last stayed there a few years ago. The property needs to be renovated and what happened to the cool bar? The staff was nice, but lacked the image that you might see at a trendy hotel. However, if your stay is short, than you can't beat the location... More

The Time has a fantastic location, great bar (if very expensive) and the staff are very accommodating. The beds are also very comfy. However The Time doesn't merit a four star rating. I would put it between two and three stars. The rooms are shabby and could do with a good overhaul (the lights over the bed were actually held... More

We stayed at The Time last week for 4 nights and had a great time in New York. The hotel is just off Times Square we could not of had a better location. We had a red room on the 12th floor which was comfy, warm, and clean with a view over the theatre showing Chicago! The staff were really friendly... More

I stayed in NY for 3 nights and this hotel was worth the price. Ok, the rooms are not very big, but it's NY. I have stayed in a more expensive hotel in NY where the rooms are even smaller. The location is excellent, the staff are very nice and helpful and the rooms are clean. Since I'm not in... More

This hotel gets the job done, but is definitely nothing to write home about. I stayed in the hotel one night for business. It is located steps from Times Square and the Broadway Theaters for travelers who are in town for leisure. The room was decent and the staff was helpful. However, the room service menu leaves a little to... More

I stayed at The Time for the New York Marathon. This was my 3rd time at The Time. Each time I found the staff to be courteous and friendly. In fact, the receptionist at the front desk remembered me from my last stay in August. This time, I had a blue room on the 15th floor. As most reviews state,... More

Trendy hotel, too bad i could not sleep in the bar! The room on the 3rd floor was small (which was fine) but beside an airconditionor on the roof which was so loud. Phoned to move room they said i could not. The light switch going into room was broken and walls had what looked like skid marks or crayon... More

the room was awful~ it was tiny, dusty, cold. the amenities and location of the hotel may be its redeeming quality. and there's no way for you to turn off the a/c or air vent so throughout the night, the thing would be humming its merry way. if you don't mind walking around NYC, i'd say pick a better hotel... We styed at the Time Hotel for 3 nights at the end of September. The location is wonderful, the rooms clean and the staff very pleasant. However, our "superior queen" room was absolutely tiny. Not "small"- TINY! The bed was not queen size, either; maybe just a bit larger than a standard double bed On the positive side, it was very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
