I stayed in NY for 3 nights and this hotel was worth the price. Ok, the rooms are not very big, but it's NY. I have stayed in a more expensive hotel in NY where the rooms are even smaller. The location is excellent, the staff are very nice and helpful and the rooms are clean. Since I'm not in... More

This hotel gets the job done, but is definitely nothing to write home about. I stayed in the hotel one night for business. It is located steps from Times Square and the Broadway Theaters for travelers who are in town for leisure. The room was decent and the staff was helpful. However, the room service menu leaves a little to... More

I stayed at The Time for the New York Marathon. This was my 3rd time at The Time. Each time I found the staff to be courteous and friendly. In fact, the receptionist at the front desk remembered me from my last stay in August. This time, I had a blue room on the 15th floor. As most reviews state,... More

Trendy hotel, too bad i could not sleep in the bar! The room on the 3rd floor was small (which was fine) but beside an airconditionor on the roof which was so loud. Phoned to move room they said i could not. The light switch going into room was broken and walls had what looked like skid marks or crayon... More

the room was awful~ it was tiny, dusty, cold. the amenities and location of the hotel may be its redeeming quality. and there's no way for you to turn off the a/c or air vent so throughout the night, the thing would be humming its merry way. if you don't mind walking around NYC, i'd say pick a better hotel... We styed at the Time Hotel for 3 nights at the end of September. The location is wonderful, the rooms clean and the staff very pleasant. However, our "superior queen" room was absolutely tiny. Not "small"- TINY! The bed was not queen size, either; maybe just a bit larger than a standard double bed On the positive side, it was very... More

We stayed at The Time for an extended holiday - 9 nights - and have little negative to say. We were really pleased with the size of our room but the air conditioning was not working. Unfortunately, it was a couple of days until we could change rooms but the staff were kind and apologetic and upgraded us to a... More

What a lovely surprise, we could not have wished for nicer. The bellboys were wonderful, all the staff were very helpful. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive, very nice room and bathroom, spotlessly cleanand we always received a greeting when we met them in the corridors. The rooms are spacious by New York standards. The reception staff were formal... More

We booked a two night stay at this hotel through hotels, and received a pretty good deal. on arriving at the hotel, i was first struck by the location - straight off Time Square, directly opposite the theatre showing Chicago, it was truly an awesome spot. The reception of the hotel, very modern and clean, was impressive, as was the... More

We stayed at the Time Hotel in NYC from 8/13/05 through 8/16/05. I booked a "superior" room with either a queen or king sized bed through ORBITZ. The room had the smallest QUEEN sized bed I have ever slept in. At my house that size is called "FULL" size. The room was very dark and small and looked out onto... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
