We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights and found our room to be fine, slightly worn in areas e.g the desk slighly damaged, carpet worn in areas. It was a decent sized room and the bed was comfy. There was a safe in the room and maid service daily. The location was amazing yards from Times Square and 10... More

I was relatively disappointed with our stay at The Time July 21-23 weekend. The room was nice, but there wasn't enough space to put clothes - no drawers! Also, there was no where to sit, other than a single well worn desk chair and the bed. The room had space for a couple of small swivel club chairs. The shower... More

We stayed two nights and were highly impressed with this hotel. You cannot find a better location. Our room was ready when we got there, everyone was nice and helpful to us. Not what I have come to expect from New Yorkers. There is a great breakfast place just around the corner called Pallegio's. Again good food and very quick... More

We stayed at The Time for only one night, a Sunday, but I felt compelled to write after reading so many average reviews. We requested a deluxe room (about $25 more than the regular superior room) on a high floor after reading that those rooms had been renovated. Our room was filled with clever trendy new furnishings and a very... More

As a travel professional, I've placed quite a few of my corporate clients into The Time - so naturally, I was a bit dismayed to find a few negative reviews of this property. I decided to book a room there for a weekend and see things for myself. I'm happy to report that the negative reviews seem to be a... More

We stayed at this hotel for five nights - we were in the city for pleasure. From a location standpoint - it's central to all the theatres and of course, to times square. Some negative comments, the restaurant is never open and the bar is on the second floor and has no energy or cool interior space. We thought we... More

The main reason I would not stay here again is the location. I realize most people here LOVE the fact that it is so close to Times Square (which it is). I however am of the opinion that Times Square is the most unappealing part of Manhattan, a tourist trap and for me not what visiting NYC is all about.... More

We stayed in a "Blue" suite for five nights, 2 adults a 15 year old and a 2 year old. Having done no prior research we soon realised this was not the best choice of hotel for a family. The rooms are on the small side for a family and a little on the tired side for a 4* hotel... More

The Time is a very stylish, hip hotel right in Times Square. The hardware, furniture, design, elevator, etc. are all very cool and a lot of thought went into the design of this hotel. The Bad: This hotel looks as if it were a great hotel about 5 years ago and has had only a minimum of maintenance and upgrades... More

We liked the Time hotel...Nice room (yellow). Only problem was that we had to wait for some time in the afternoon for our room to become available. We were told the girl on the desk left and forgot to tell anyone we were waiting. It happens!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
