I used to live in Manhattan and this was a favorite spot of mine for drinks after work. Thought it would be fun to stay here for once and the room rate was ridiculously reasonable for NYC. That said, I arrived at midnight from a long day of flying and was first struck but the tiny elevators with dirty carpeting.... more

I booked the hotel through QUICKBOOK site which offered me the room for a single use at 118$ + tax. The location is great, the room was indeed very small but for one person it was OK. It was a very nice room with comfortable bed and nice decor. I stayed on the 16th floor and didn't hear any noise.... more

My wife and I stayed at the Time Hotel (49th and between Broadway and 8th) in July. The location is fantastic. Just half a block from the end of Time Square and in the center point of most of the theatres. The staff was quite friendly, although one of the concierges seemed very uninterested in helping us out, the rest... more

First off the hotel was in a perfect location. BUT, I booked this hotel 4 months ago because they tols me they had 2 king beds and a pullout in the room. They also told me we could have 2 adjoining suites. I called two days before the trip to confirm and they said adjoining suites did not exist in... more

I booked the hotel thru priceline and stayed in a room on the 15th floor. Horrible is the simplest way to put it. The room is very small and not safe (electrical is not stable, faucet keeps dripping). It looks like the hotel added these rooms to give to priceline buyers with no regard to safety. This hotel should be... more

The one saving grace of this hotel is that is very well situated, right on Times Square and close to all the Theaters; but the hotel's appearance and their service are bad. To begin with, there's the doorman who stood outside all day and night smoking and chatting with girls, not only he doesn't bother opening the door for you... more

We were really satisfied with the hotel. Location is excellent, right off Times Square and close to subways. We expected a small room, but were pleasanty surprised of the room we received considering it is in NYC. Even with two suitcases each, it did not feel crowded. We did not receive the two separate beds we'd requested, but the King... more

The room was small, bathroom tiny, but everything was clean and comfortable. Location great. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is very slow elevator service; high speed internet service intermittent. Even so, I would definitely stay again. more

This place was great aside from a little issue we had upon checking in. Apparently they "hold" money in case of incidentals on your credit card. Of this, we were not prior informed and didnt transfer sufficient funds before checking in. Our check-in was held up, as we had to go find an internet cafe to transfer money onto our... more

We travel to NYC at least twice a year, almost always staying at 4-5 star hotels. This is a four star hotel were housekeeping comes in your room at anytime, things come up missing and we also kept wondering why our radio station was changed every time we came back to our room. Also, when making the bed housekeeping left... more
