We loved everything in this great hotel : the location of this hotel is perfect; the rooms are very large, the bed is comfortable and the restaurant is a delight. We have loved the elegance and attention to details in every aspect. We will be back soon.

After a long lasting decision I can say this was the best one . I stayed in few 5 stars hotels in NYC, but this one was the best so far. Location: Upper East Side - nearby Central Park , not that busy. Service: very professional - and attentive, from check-in until check-out. Room /Mark Studio-10th floor/ - decent size... More

The Mark is a great hotel property in every way. Quiet elegance in New York's upper east side. Warm and friendly front desk. Beautiful rooms - nice size - large clean double sink bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Nice linens changed every day. Complimentary shoe shine service. Good gym - plenty of machines and free weights. Good bar. Nice restaurant. Turn down... More

Pity that it's not possible to offer more than 5 stars! My wife and I checked out of the hotel today after a two and a half week stay in Suite 1102 and we really couldn’t let the moment pass without noting what a wonderful experience it was. In a word, and quite remarkably, the stay was perfect in every... More

What a great location for visiting the met museum and the upper east side. Swanky neighborhood. Super nice doormen too. Bikes are available for free and transportation to bergdorf-goodman. Super nice space-large for New York. Wonderful marble bath. Slippers, ample toiletries. Great pillows, linens, towels. Even a Sub-zero refrigerator. Can you believe that? I don't know what this all cost... More

This is hotel is just fantastic. High class all over. The service is more than 5 stars. The bathroom has tv if you want to watch a programme while taking a bath. Attention to details pays of course back. And you can also do vip-watching, we spotted a famous actor in the hall. It is expensive but it is totally... More

This is absolutely a particular hotel in NY city. From the first step you feel the style of this place: the textures and colors are made with the great taste. The check-in procedure was very quick and then I had a room tour. I had a queen courtyard room, for me in NY it is always important to have the... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
