Always one of the best choices in NYC. Housekeeping is excellent, close to the best of any 5 star hotel anywhere, and I stay in many all over the world. Very nice spacious well maintained rooms, great comfortable beds and pillows, very good size well lit bathrooms with tub and shower seperate, good refrigerator with icemaker, good concierge service and... I enjoyed a lovely stay at the Mark over Memorial day weekend. The property definitely has a luxurious and glamorous residential feel--from the moment I walked through the door, I felt like a resident of the neighborhood. Check-in was super smooth the front desk agent even escorted me to my room and gave me complete overview of the accommodation and all... More

loved the mark. the service was impeccable. francisco took care of us like we lived there. gorgeous subtle soothing decor of rooms, insanely sleek beautiful bathrooms. the only problem was the sound--easily heard other room doors open and close at 6am which woke us up. the doors are beautiful heavy wood doors which is probably part of the problem. everything... The Hotel is in the upper East side and one small block away from the park. You have very close by great restaurants and lots of stores in Madison Av. The concierge help me with every thing and was very well informed. The rooms are small but very nice, the Wi Fi is free and fast. In summer they have... More

For the past two years, I have been fortunate enough to visit the Mark on at least 8 occasions. I am familiar not only with the residences at the Mark, but also the hotel and the hotel services. Having stayed at many wonderful hotels in the states and abroad, I can honestly say - there are few that do it... More

We just left this hotel and I felt compelled to write a review. From the minute we stepped out of the car the entire staff made us feel special and very welcomed. We had my four year old with us and they all talked to him and treated him great! Even though it was our first time there they treated... More

We have stayed her five times over the last few years. We like the location. Sadly, it has gotten progressively worse. This time we booked several months in advance, having had twins that would be 4.5 months old upon arrival. I called and let them know I needed a room that could accommodate my wife and I, two cribs and... More

I would like to take a moment to express my sincerest apologies for the multiple inconveniences that occurred on your most recent visit to The Mark. As a guest that has stayed with us on various occasions over the past few years, it is disconcerting to hear feedback such as this. While we value each of our guests in a... More

Stayed at The Mark for the first time this April and it was a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful and the bathroom downright gorgeous and I found the service to be excellent. The service is why I am writing this review, the staff was friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome every time I walked into the lobby... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
