I flew in for a friends birthday which was held at the French Resto "Daniel" We all stayed at The Mark and no one was disappointed. Elegant and Classy. Service is amazing.. Everything is accessible. Central Park, Which we crossed to also stay at the 458 Riverside on The Hudson.. Gorgeous !!

This is absolutely a particular hotel in NY city. From the first step you feel the style of this place: the textures and colors are made with the great taste. The check-in procedure was very quick and then I had a room tour. I had a queen courtyard room, for me in NY it is always important to have the... More

Contemporary feel, and first class service. The staff is as good as any NYC hotel. Rooms are good, but furnishings feel a little more like cheaper contemporary. Views are fine for NY. Room service is good, but expensive. Fitness center is adequate, and probably in line relative to other NYC hotels. The lobby bar is a major Thursday night hang... More

We really enjoyed our stay at The Mark. It's situated in a quiet part of NYC and yards away from Central Park. Make sure you sign up for iPerfer before you go. That is their affiliated honors program. Because we were members, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a full modern kitchen, complete with Subzero refrigerator! The service... More

This place has true heart. You feel pampered from the moment you arrive. The doormen are very attentive and personable, opening the car door, chatting, and remembering my name, making me feel at home. Front desk and concierge were very professional, always going out of their way, above and beyond, without any hesitation. When you're happy and you love your... More

This is a really nicely designed hotel that has a unique style. The room is large, elegant and very well designed for comfort. They have thought of every little detail. The service team are outstanding and more than happy to help at every opportunity. Location is good in the upper east side. Prefect if you want to use the park.... More

We were delighted with our room at the Mark Hotel. it was like having booked an apartment but with the amenities of a hotel. The linen, china, glassware were all first class. Everything was perfect. Personally, I did not like getting into the lift. It is all black and white and sometimes I could not tell if the doors were... More

The Mark Hotel goes above and beyond their call of duty. From the moment we called to make our reservation with the extremely resourceful Melina to the moment we left, The Mark Hotel felt like a home, and the employees an extension of our family. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the receptionists were quick to answer any... More

We stayed at The Mark last year. Overall we had a great experience. The rooms are not too big, but are confortable. They have a excellent fitness center. The bar is great, is always full of people. The location is a benefit because you are in one of the best areas of Manhattan. Can walk everywhere.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
