Hotel Newton is a very good hotel in a great location in uptown Manhattan. It is right across the street from the 96th Street subway stop and the hotel is only a couple of blocks from Central Park. The thing that most impressed me about this hotel is its cleanliness. It was absolutely spotless. I could find no signs of... More

The service, price and value was all I expected. The staff accommodated me with a clean, quiet room a few hours earlier than check-in. Eduardo, the door man was helpful with our luggage and the staff was informative with concierge directions. This will be my hotel when I was a dependable place in this neighborhood.

This was a great find in the Upper West side only blocks from Central Park and 100 meters from the subway with easy access to Times Square, Empire State Building and other major sites. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the Front Desk staff were helpful with restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood.

The hotel is a good value for Manhattan. Personnel and cleanness is excellent. The bed mattresses are very hard with very little cushion on top. I will stay there again in the hopes the mattresses have been replaced.

I stayed here for one night. The room was clean, but the bed wasn't comfortable and the carpet felt a little damp. I'm from Illinois, and I don't travel much. Maybe this is a New York thing, maybe this doesn't happen in Illinois, or maybe all the hotels I've stayed at coincidentally didn't have this happen, but a $50 fee... More

Small, clean & reasonably priced hotel on Upper Westside of Manhattan. Room was well appointed with a fridge & micro. Even though my room faced Broadway, street noise wasn't a problem. (If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room in the back.) Friendly bilingual desk staff. Close to museums & Central Park. Also convenient to Mt Sinai Hospital. Bus... More

The room was a nice size, and very clean and comfortable. The housekeeper we had was awesome. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and one cup coffee maker. The location was fabulous. The subway station was just across the street, so it was easy to access the entire city; yet you can walk to Central Park. We truly enjoyed our stay... More

My main priority for a hotel is clean and comfortable and this was although I didn't choose this hotel. It was conveniently located near the subway. stayed one night and was not in the room except to sleep. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We had a groupon and included in the price was breakfast next door. Husband (and I... More

I've stayed here 5 times over the last 21 years so that says it all. Yes, the rooms aren't huge and are a little tired but there clean and the staff have always been so helpful and friendly. Great base to see NY from. Millions of places to eat and drink in a lovely neighbourhood away from the tourist crowds.... More
