Probably a good choice if you're visiting the Upper West Side - it's clean, no bugs, rooms for a NYC hotel are a fairly good size (we had a suite, with 2 double beds and a private bath). It's an older property with one small elevator. We had a car and parked around the corner for $25 for the night.... More

Thank you for your review of our property. We hope you try us again. There are great restaurant choices on the Upper West side along with the close proximity to Central Park and museums so it is a great area to stay in. Emilio Morales Jr. Director of Reservations and Revenue More

Although this hotel is halfway up Broadway it is still the perfect place to stay while visiting NYC. With the 96th street subway station nearby you are only 10 minutes away from Lower Manhattan. Rooms are clean, well maintained and they have a microwave, fridge and a reasonably large TV. Can one ask for more? Staff is friendly, polite and... More

Hotel standard ok, the place is clean and everything was working fine. The location is good, near the subway and Central Park. It has no restaurant so you'll have to eat somewhere else but hey, it's N.Y. and there are thousands of places where you can by food and actually some quite ok just near by. One of them is... More

Lovely rooms. Excellent water pressure in the showers - and I had the chance to use the showers in two separate rooms on two separate floors. Bathrooms are very clean, great gravity flush toilets - they seemed relatively new for an old hotel. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the rooms and hotel clean. My room was cleaned every morning... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay. I am pleased that all was a success. I will definitely bring up your comments about the limited computer time in the lobby as it is a great idea. The business center in the lobby is maintained by an outside company however, it is a useful idea to bring up and I... More

Excellent hotel. Far out of the main attractions of manhattan, but located next to a subway station and it takes 10 minutes to get right into the heart of Times Square. Fantastic and very accommodating staff who were so very kind to upgrade me and my sister to a Queen room in honour of her birthday. Great price and nearby... More

I've booked several colleagues into the Hotel Newton when they've come to town and they've all been very happy. It's in a great location--right next to Symphony Space and near some very good restaurants, on the Express 2/3 line. The staff is great to work with--very attentive and responsive. The rooms are clean and pretty but ***Very*** small. I wouldn't... More

We stayed at the Hotel Newton the night before attending the Live with Kelly and Michael show. It was perfect. Parking is located around the corner in the garage and if you get your ticket validated you save about $3-$5. We were upgraded to a queen and had our own bathroom, be careful because some of the rooms share bathrooms.... More

Being used to staying more downtown, we were very happy with this hotel. It is on the upper, upper west side, but in a fairly quiet neighborhood. As we were in town for an opera and shows, it proved perfect. The subway is very close nearby and within minutes, we were at times square. The rooms are smaller, but clean,... More

Recently stayed for a honeymoon, the hotel itself was a nice hotel but was a fair bit out the way from most attractions. This is and isn't a bad thing, it is if you like to walk everywhere but at same time has a subway on it's doorstep so gives an opportunity to use the subway. We had a junior... More
