A gem...half a block from Times Square. A small hotel but quiet and has everything you would need for a weekend visit. Room was small (but that is usual in NYC) but clean and comfortable. We had a room with two double beds, good size bathroom, in-room safe. There was a small area in lobby with two computers and a... More

We spent four days at the hotel over spring break. Traveling with two teens (13 and 16), it was a great location with wonderful night life. The staff was very attentive, the continental breakfast was what you would expect, price was affordable, very clean, and surprising very quiet. The church bells next door do ring each morning. We spent little... More

This hotel is quite small and the rooms are small as well, but still i really liked this hotel, the room was cozy and the beds where very good, and after long days with lots of experience and sightseeing in New york city, it was great to come back to a good bed for the night. The staff here was... More

Located on 46th between Broadway and 6th the location is great. There is an ICON parking garage almost directly across the street that offers a nice discount for hotel guests, be sure to get your ticket stamped by the front desk. The hotel itself is on the small side like many in the city but we found it to be... More

This hotel is not safe. I was followed up to my floor and cornered in the hall by a man the staff later admitted was lurking in the lobby. Anyone can get into the elevator and go up to any floor without inserting a key card, and it's next to a church which has homeless men sleepoing in the pews.

Dear nancy e, We're sorry you felt threatened at any time. Our hotel is very safe. We have staff 24/7 and cameras in common area. After looking over the footage and consulting the front desk agent at the time it seems that the man who went into the elevator with you was lost and was in the wrong hotel. We... More

An obliging desk clerk allowed us an early checkin and was very pleasant and obliging, as were all the staff we dealt with. As other reviewers have pointed out, front rooms get all the street noise, but it really didn't bother us. The hotel is surrounded by good eating places and about 100 yards from Times Square, close to the... More

Little gem of a hotel just a block from the hub-bub of Times Square. Try to get a room that doesn't front on the street however the noise goes away late at night. Staff was great as was their service. I'd stay there again.

We happened to arrive in NYC during the heavy snow in February 2015. Upon arriving in the hotel, a member of staff greeted us and after asking if we wished to check in, helped us haul our bags up the steps to the hotel check in desk. We waited for a few minutes whilst another guest was being helped. The... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
