This is a very cool hotel, but the rooms are painfully small. Really painfully small. I've been here three times and you can barely move around in some of them. And they have those old fashioned, really noisy free standing wall/window based air conditioners and heaters. Hard to believe for the prices. Food is very good in room service and... more

We got booked for two nights into W through priceline so only after paying we started reading reviews and our hearts sunk. We prepared ourselves for Fawlty Towers experience. Very bad experiance. I took a Mega room in the 9th floor and it was very noisy. The sound from Lexington avenue was so strong that I could not sleep ! The Isolation is very poor. Went with my partner who was on business. Room size to be expected. Worst problem was the terrible lighting. We asked for a quiet room - which it was around the back wich is positive but the window was very small. To make up for this the lighting should have been given special attention but it was dreadful.
