The hotel was clean and good priced. The room is relatively spacious in New York. But the trains passing through every ten minutes were very loud. It was fairly close to the East Broadway station. Check in and check out were fast.

This is a solid budget hotel. I will def stay here again. The place is very clean, which I cannot say for a lot nicer hotels in New York. The staff was also very helpful and you can't beat the location (right off the F train). People complain about the train noise, but if you live in a city, you... More

Hotel 91 is an absolute treasure! Excellent value for money and an amazing location. So close to subway stations and walking distance from little italy, East village and Wall Street. There were 4 of us in a double queen room and it was a great size with a great bathroom. The shower was always warm and powerful and the beds... More

This hotel is in the middle of NYC's Chinatown. Yes, it's very close to the Manhattan Bridge. Yes, you will se and ear the trains on it if your room is on that side. In all honesty, it didn't prevented us from sleeping. A metro station is close by. It's near Canal Street, Little Italy and Ground Zero. The parking... More

Me and my two friends just stayed here for 5 nights. We're all college students, so we were looking for a budget hotel. This was well below our budget, has a private bathroom and is close to a Subway stop (F-train). In terms of the money we paid for it, we were very happy. The neighborhood was safe, though not... we stayed here for a week in January , upon arrival staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had about how to get to nearest subway station. The room was tiny just barely fit our two single beds in , but we managed, the bathrooms were also small but very clean. We used the laundry facilities while... More

If you see my last review from October 2013 not much has changed but are experience this time was slightly different. We were out in room 407 this room was fine on first arrival but it became clear it wouldn't do. Yes is was loud but again if you're tired you'll sleep through anything. The problem was the bathroom was... More

I was concerned about this hotel due to the price. It was very inexpensive for Manhattan and I was afraid I might be in for an unpleasant surprise. I wasn't. The hotel is fine. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The hotel is in Chinatown. It's two blocks to the East Broadway subway stop and there are lots... More

Coming from Manila, the sound of the trains did not bother us at all, if anything we rarely heard them at all. The rates we paid for were pretty decent considering that this hotel is in Manhattan! The only thing I did not like was the wifi connection, but other than that our stay was pretty good.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
