I loved the rooms, and the way they were furnished with period furniture, tiles etc. Very friendly staff, great courtyard garden, and a quiet neighbourhood. Lot's of good restaurants in the neighbourhood and just a block away from the Metro. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay, enjoyed exploring the quiet neighborhood and we're impressed with front desk service. If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be the beds and the quality of linens used in the hotel. They were not fitting with other luxurious aspects of the hotel. We would recommend it to others, but would be... More

The Greenwich epitomises the best of New York. Stayed here for 5 nights in August and can say that if if you want the real NYC experience, this is it. The staff are amazing, especially the Concierge team. The food is very good, especially the Fruit Salad for breakfast...Cannot fault the place. Just go.

This hotel is in a great location for Soho Shopping, 911 Memeorial, the new Whitney, Hi Line and West Village. Even though it was over 90 degrees, I could walk to all of these. The Greenwich decor is sophisticated village chic. I love the wood floors. My room was actually just like the one pictured here. Another plus with the... More

We had a wedding reception for my daughter's wedding in the private dining room at Locanda Verde, located at the hotel. The food was excellent as was the service. And I would recommend it highly for anyone wanting a special place for an occasion. Seats 60 at two large tables, served family style. We also booked two rooms for the... More

It's not a cheap place to stay, but it's really worth all the money! Nice looking room, very inviting, warm with wonderful interior design details (books and other little things in the shelf and on the table). It's a bit like coming home. Little snacks such as chocolate and crisps are for free which is just another little nice datail.... More

Staying at the hotel is a good experience from the service to the environment, which is quite charming, including the rooms and bathrooms. Make sure to spend some time in the living room/bar/restaurant. The staff is also quite professional. A special note, though, regarding the staff of the restaurant, where the meals are fine, but the fact of forgetting about... More

We love this hotel. Our last visit was our tenth stay. I have many "favourite" hotels all over the world but The Greenwich Hotel makes me feel happy. My family loves staying here when we visit New York. We enjoy the location because we can bike along the river from Tribeca to Riverside Park; we can walk to all of... More

I love the Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan. The service is great. The rooms are fabulous and spacious and each room is unique. I love their courtyard area. It is great for dinner or drinks and a nice social area. I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to New York.

The hotel in TriBeCa was awesome!! Beautiful, cozy, welcoming.....delightful!!! Our room was super nice, the bathroom had tons of marble and wonderful soaps and shampoos etc The coolest part was the snack basket and stocked fridge!! You could have anything you wanted and they would replenish the next day. The only thing they would charge you for was the alcohol,... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
