I have stayed in numerous NYC hotels, mostly 4 and 5 star. This is my favorite. They have everything you can expect. Yes, some may say it's not centrally located but it's an easy walk to a subway and NYC has no shortage of cabs. This hotel has a very NY feel, it is not cookie cutter in any way.... More

My husband and I travel to NYC every year at Christmas. In the past we have stayed in Midtown close to Central Park and all of the shopping. This year, we decided to try something new! Based on trip advisor reviews we chose the Greenwich and were very pleased! The hotel staff was very attentive and very nice from the... More

We stayed here over the recent Thanksgiving Day holiday and it was such a wonderful expereince. I have stayed here many times, and have never had a bad experience. It is charming and stylish at the same time. The rooms are simle and homey in a very elegant way, and the property is quite well run with staff always freindly... More

This hotel is spectacular. The service is efficient, friendly, and discrete. The rooms are roomy with very comfortable beds and sofas. Tribeca is a bit off the beaten path but has many wonderful dining options and is a short walk to Soho for shopping. The food service is top notch and the drawing room with its fireplace is very cozy... More

I travel a lot for business and this is my favorite places to stay. The location is perfect - quiet and private but a short subway ride to the busier parts of the city. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows and I love the courtyard rooms with doors you can open for fresh air. Spoil yourself and upgrade... More

I travel A LOT. Stays in A LOT of hotels, and by far this is the absolute BEST hotel in all aspects in NYC. I am in a courtyard room and its high ceiling and large french windows with a real french balcony makes it feel like Paris. It over looks into the courtyard. Very nice. I will make it... More

I just returned from another week at the Greenwich. I travel for business often to NYC and this has been my new hotel of choice. I stayed there last September and it was just as awesome. It is a small hotel located in a cute area of Tribeca. I have stayed at The Bowery, The Mercer and the Crosby and... More

We went for our anniversary. Room 515 was fabulous with sauna in room. Layout of room was great. Luxurious bed linens. Bathroom planned out wonderfully. Staff lovely and restaurant was fabulous. Would come back in a minute.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
