It's not a cheap place to stay, but it's really worth all the money! Nice looking room, very inviting, warm with wonderful interior design details (books and other little things in the shelf and on the table). It's a bit like coming home. Little snacks such as chocolate and crisps are for free which is just another little nice datail.... More

Staying at the hotel is a good experience from the service to the environment, which is quite charming, including the rooms and bathrooms. Make sure to spend some time in the living room/bar/restaurant. The staff is also quite professional. A special note, though, regarding the staff of the restaurant, where the meals are fine, but the fact of forgetting about... More

We love this hotel. Our last visit was our tenth stay. I have many "favourite" hotels all over the world but The Greenwich Hotel makes me feel happy. My family loves staying here when we visit New York. We enjoy the location because we can bike along the river from Tribeca to Riverside Park; we can walk to all of... More

I love the Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan. The service is great. The rooms are fabulous and spacious and each room is unique. I love their courtyard area. It is great for dinner or drinks and a nice social area. I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to New York.

The hotel in TriBeCa was awesome!! Beautiful, cozy, welcoming.....delightful!!! Our room was super nice, the bathroom had tons of marble and wonderful soaps and shampoos etc The coolest part was the snack basket and stocked fridge!! You could have anything you wanted and they would replenish the next day. The only thing they would charge you for was the alcohol,... More

I have stayed at the Greenwich many times over the years and have always found it to be one of the most welcoming and gracious hotels in my travels. The rooms are immaculate and sumptuously appointed without being stiff or pretentious. The service is over the top while remaining casual and familiar. And of course the spa and pool is... More

Just checked out of Greenwich Hotel. A great place to rest in the city. Staff is superb. Food and service is always excellent. This is our third time at this hotel and the quality is far above many other hotels in NYC. Spa services are also perfection every time. Spa has steam room and pool. Can't go wrong here.

We've stayed at the Greenwich Hotel several times over the past 5 or 6 years and every visit has been a seriously good treat. I have considered it one of the best hotels on earth, recommended it to friends and celebrated often here. On our most recent stay the food service was a mess. Every breakfast was wrong or cold.... We arrived earlier than expected, our room was ready and we had an upgrade. Very friendly, efficient and polite staff. This hotel is a wonderful find, beautifully finished and the attention to detail in all areas is incredible. The bed and linens are first class, the bathroom, shower and massive tub are the best we had ever had in a... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
