Was here 1 year ago and thought hotel was adequate. It is convenient to road to caverns. It is overpriced as are other hotels in Carlsbad. Overall quality has dropped in past year. Sidewalks could have been cleaner. Wifi didn't work. Would probably pay more for nicer facility next time.

When arriving in the lobby, women was very rude while attending me. She said I would find parking right in front of my room, and there was but 2 big trucks were hogging 3 parking spaces. I ended up parking back up front of hotel. Vey overpriced for one night, heater didn't work, and only one working lamp. While reading... More

The parking lot is filled with BIG trucks. Good luck getting a place to park by your room. It's evident that whomever owns this hotel they are only interested in doing the very least because they don't have to. The sign says new linens. That's about it. We paid close to $200 for one night. The oil workers keep the... More

This hotel would be priced in the $50 range in any other town. The local economy is clearly supported by oil & gas (drilling) and prices charged by all local hotels/motels are priced way above normal. Over 80% of the hotel guests are oil field workers whose rooms are booked by oil companies. Unless you are willing to pay unsupported... More

When I reserved 2 rooms, I requested an early check in for the second room and was informed that it would be no problem....when the desk clerk checked me in for the first room, I was informed that it was not possible to get an early check in for the second room as they were full and that I needed... They had problems with their computer where I wanted to make copies and the front desk clerk did not no what to do to resolved the problem.... More

We stayed at Days Inn and were terribly disappointed. The room was very dirty, even had the last guests' dirty underwear in the closet. The walls, floors and chairs were very dirty. Requests for rooms made 3 months in advance were not honoured. Photos of the dirty room. Very expensive.

This is a nice place for a nights stay. The staff are helpful, the full hot breakfast was nice. We enjoy the pool with hot tub. We go to Carlsbad for their River of Lights every year and found this place to be a good stay. It is getting more expensive though.
