This hotel is within 20 minutes of Carlbad Caverns so this was good for us. The continental breakfast was ok, however the coffee was awful! This was ok for 1 night only

I had reserved a king bed suite for the suite price on line. When I arrived I was placed in 2queen bed normal sized room. When I pointed out error to staff I was told all suites were taken and that was the only room left. I asked for a price adjustment since I had paid for a king suite.... More

Open downspouts at ground level are a safety hazard - edges are sharp. Area behind toilet was not clean. Hot tub needs maintenance/cleaning, there was scum buildup around the coping.

I really don't understand the bad reviews of this place. It's not the Hilton but it was clean. The bedding was new and the beds though very firm were comfortable.
