Like other reviewers, don't let the outside fool you. We have a king bed, no smoking. $58. per night. Brand new: carpet, furniture, beds, tile in bathroom. New bath sinks, shower, paint. Totally new inside the room. Yes it is small, but for one or two people, perfect. In room coffee, microwave, frig, flat screen TV, computer desk, great WiFi.... More

Needed a place to stay near the caverns and thought since it was winter, it would be easy to find a place without a reservation. We got into town and tried 6 places and all were booked. We got to the end of the strip and saw the Continental. It looked like a dump but there was a "Vacancy" sign... More

We had to get a room because it was late at night and I was tired from a long day of driving. There were no rooms available at other places I stopped so took the one open here. What a mistake!!! There were what appeared to be blood stains on the linens on one of the beds. The trash can... More

When we first got in to the room there was a smell so thinking if we turn on the AC it might clear the room smell did not go away. There was loud yelling from other rooms all night. The wifi was fast, it had a micro fridge and a micro we did not use the micro. The toilet was... More

Had to get a room because if storms. This place is a dump and the staff are rude. Toilet wouldn't flush & wifi was spotty at best. Check out is at 11, but no one opened the lame pool until after 10am. Sign says it opens at 9. They told me coffee & donuts for breakfast but it was watered... More

The wifi & the fridge did not work. When we told the person in the office about this the next morning, we received a defensive and unfriendly response, blaming us for the problems, and refusing any compensation.

This is an older hotel, and the lady in the office says that she has been working there for 9 years but doesn't really like it (she didn't have to tell me that). Although the wallpaper is peeling in places, and the bathrooms very much need updating, the place was clean, and it is the cheapest place to stay in... More

Fake drawers- that's right no drawers to store your clothes! Broken shower head and drain. The room stinks, and service has not been that very good. I would understand if I was paying about $20 less. Old keys are still used and it is difficult to get back into my room every time. The hot and cold knobs on sink... More

I have been there several times driving through NM to TX. Clerks were nice, late night check in was great and the service was great. Close to the Carlsbad Caverns and a quiet area in the town. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a great deal on a nice room in Carlsbad.

We spent the night at Continental Inn after hours and hours of driving from AZ to NM. Our bed was okay. The sheets doesn't smell bad. The A/C was noisy. Our bathroom has some kinda issue. The toilet bowl was not properly installed and the water was leaking all over the bathroom floor. There are rust in the bathroom faucet.Our... More
