In a area that is very busy this is a popular motel. I enjoy staying at this hotel and will continue to. The staff is very accommodating for me with my handicap. I stay there 6 - 10 nights a month. Their room are well kept for the age of the hotel. Sometimes there is noise outside from rowdy patrons... More

Carlsbad Hotels were asking Manhattan prices due to the oil boom. I consider paying more than 300 USD for a Hampton Inn as a rip off, therefore we booked a Best Western for "just" 134 USD. The room was a bit dated. Staff could hardly show a smile (they should be smiling with those prices). Breakfast was good with eggs... More

Very well cared for hotel. Clean and manicured exterior and interior. The room was very clean. Plenty of towels. I liked being able to park my car right in front of my room. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. If you are traveling with pets, they are allowed. The breakfast buffet had a nice assortment of items and everything... More

Traveling from Dallas, TX to Phoenix and stopping in Carlsbad to visit the caverns, this Best Western was the best value we could find for the area. The room was huge with kitchenette, double sink vanity, and siting area. The bed was very comfortable. We had our dog with us and the pet area we used was clean and free... More

We stayed here with our 9 and 6 year old on the way to the caverns. It was very crowded due to the lounge connected to it that the locals go to. We awoke at 3:00 am to gunshots, a fight in the parking lot, and police cars right outside our room. Besides this scary experience the rooms are dated.... More

I work in the oil field in West Texas and SE NM. We stay at the BW Stevens Inn. I like staying here, because it has lots of stuff on property. The room is comfortable, clean, and relatively quiet. The internet appears to be an issue, dependent on which room you are staying in. I have had a lot of... More

This hotel is over priced for what you get. But since there aren't too many choices around, we decided to stay here in hopes of a "best western" standard of quality. It had a nice big open room and bathroom area. But one of the sinks was clogged and unusable, and the in room refrigerator was broken also. We didn't... More

Way too many average, overpriced motels in this town. We looked at a couple dumps for $75, the Hampton Inn for $326 !!!!!, and were conditioned to be thrilled to find this bargain at. $135. Room was updated and clean and in the back away from the road. Breakfast was only average despite hot items. The hotel lobby smells like... More

We were in a large room in what I think is an older part of the hotel complex. Plenty of room to move around. Sink area is large with a shelf underneath for storage. Fridge did not work when we arrived. A call made to the front desk and within 30-40 minutes two maintenance staff arrived and fixed the problem.... More
