Standard hotel, but good location on south side of Carlsbad closer to the National Park. Took about :20 to get to the Park. Rooms were new and clean, free breakfast is always a bonus with kids and the wifi was very good.

For Carlsbad, this hotel is the place to stay. They serve an average, but hot, complimentary breakfast. During our stay a false fire alarm sounded at midnight and we rushed our kids in their pjs down the stairwell. The next morning, the hotel credited our account $50 for the incident. We were impressed! I would stay here again.

Comfortable bed, and very clean. Typical fairfield inn room. I noticed that another hotel was being built near by, and I think it's in the Marriott chain. Until it's completed this is the only good choice in this area. If we ever plan another trip to the caverns i would stay here again.

The Carlsbad Fairfield is very new and in a great location. We were upgraded to a suite and it is wonderful! The room and bathroom were both clean, spacious, and comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable. This is the nicest Fairfield we have ever stayed at.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Feb over the Presidents' Day long weekend. The location to the Caverns is fantastic. We were upgraded to a suite (woo!), and the room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel didn't seem very full, so minus the traffic noise, it was quiet and peaceful. The staff was friendly, and we were pretty... More

The room was clean and comfortable. We were there 2 nights and breakfast was good both days - we had no trouble with the food as others have written about. (We did eat when they opened at 6:30 and there was plenty of food at that time so perhaps the other reviewers ate later.) The breakfast attendant worked the whole... More

The staff was nice and friendly. The location close to Carlsbad Caverns is great but the hotel has practically no brochures or pamphlets on local attractions. We were told to use the Internet to get information but their wifi is horribly slow and unreliable. We have both Sprint and T-Mobile and their reception in the area is also non existent.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family while visiting Carlsbad Caverns and the surrounding area. Clean hotel and rooms. Good breakfast with a large sitting area. Andy at the desk was very helpful as was the lady preparing breakfast each morning. Walmart located within easy walking distance if you need to pick up any road supplies. Only downside was... More

I stayed at this hotel for six months on business. The customer services rec'vd during my stay, was nothing but great. The entire staff treated me with the upmost respect. Management, Chris and Kelly at some point would always thank me for my continued stays and being a platinum elite member. Other members of the staff, Jordan, Ben, Art, LeAnn,... More

The room was fine. Ready when we arrived. Everything as expected for a Fairfield but the prices are ridiculous. This is a $109-$149 per night hotel charging $300 plus!!!! And the morning staff is so understaffed that the breakfast is amongst the plainest if not worst I've had at any chain hotel. Other hotels were far more crowded so it... More
