This restored gem is a delight for the senses. Our family of three enjoyed a four night stay in the Safe Room (206). Our ten year-old daughter loved having her own private space within the vault while we enjoyed spacious luxury in the room itself. The king bed is quite comfortable and the bathroom is beautifully tiled and appointed. Breakfast... More

I came here with my husband on our trip out west. We were recommended here by the staff at Pecos River RV park. Donna was our server and she was wonderful, and very knowledgeable about the local wines! We had a steak, pork chop and seasonal veggies. They were delicious but the highlight of our meal was the spicy goat... More

Carlsbad, New Mexico, is a small town caught up in a major oil fracking boom. The chain hotels and motels charge Manhattan prices for their rooms because the oil industry will pay them to house their workers. The Trinity Hotel is an oasis in this lodging desert. It is a beautifully renovated old bank building. The rooms have 12 foot... More

The Tinity is in a former bank building, built in 1892, in Carlsbad and is the BEST option in the Carlsbad area. This is a true 5 star property and the staff are very helpful as well. The included breakfast was awesome and if you wanted to you can also order off a full breakfast menu. All the rooms are... More

My wife, daughter, and I spent one night in Carlsbad to see Carlsbad Caverns. In a town full of bland hotels, The Trinity Hotel really stands out. Each room is unique and ours had a wonderful claw foot bathtub. It's in a very old renovated bank building so it has a lot of historic charm. I highly recommend this if... More

Very friendly front desk staff. Huge room. Fairly close to Carlsbad Caverns. In old downtown section of Carlsbad. Free continental breakfast consisted of 1 roll or pastry and coffee or tea - very disappointing. Could park our car directly in front of our room. Our room had a double shower that was really great.

We spent 5 nights at the Trinity Hotel in Carlsbad last week. Our experience was, in a word, excellent! It is called a hotel but technically, since it only has 9 rooms, is a bed and breakfast. Local gas/oil/mining boom means an army of company employees in the area and the larger companies have leased up significant portions of the... More

If you are ever in Carlsbad, you must enjoy dinner at the Trinity Hotel Restaurant. A beautifully restored old bank building with lots of charm, lovely decor, and great food. I had the filet mignon with portebello mushrooms, crisp veggies and baked potato. The steak melted in my mouth, medium rare, just the way I like it. The mushrooms could... More

We were in the area for one night and picked The Trinity even though the price was rather high for the area. Without a doubt, we made the right choice. It's an old bank building and you might drive by it twice before realizing "that's it". Room was very large, art deco style bath and comfortable bed. Noise from the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Trinity Hotel for two nights including New Year's Eve. We had reservations for only one night but a snow and ice storm forced us to reconsider our travel plans and the owner of the Trinity happily made some adjustments allowing us to avoid relocating to another room. The hotel accurately recreates 19th century... More
