We're traveling the SW in a 5th wheel, and have stayed here before. We always find this to be a nice place to spend a few nights. The sites are big, and we were able to get a pull-through, full service, despite there being a lot of oil workers here now. The staff is great, ready to answer any questions,... More

The good: Folks who run this park are very nice indeed, and it's clean. Parking is easy (pull-thru's). It's also one of the closest decent parks to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Straightforward design with gravel everywhere, sites are nice and level, service connections are excellent (electric, water and sewer). Bathrooms and showers are in clean and in good condition, though... More

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We did not have a reservation, late at night. They got us " backed " in (40') .The next day had us set up for the next few days. Made the difference of enjoying our time in the Carlsbad area or frustration and disappointment. I learned to plan ahead,... More

Way overpriced for just water and electric and a gravel parking lot type of camping. Before I checked in I asked if they had wifi and whether it worked (I needed to access my email). They assured me it was just fine. After a day of trying everything they told me to do, they admitted the wifi doesn't work with... More

If you compare the pictures on their website and what is actually happening at the park, it is two different things. They are drilling oil & gas in the area and the park seems to be full of workers that go to work before dawn. Trailers are packed in like sardines in a large percentage of the park. Many of... More

Needs trees, scrubs. Very bare, gravel, no shade. Wifi was non-existant. We were in the back, away from the highway but still had some pretty heavy noise. Several "big rig" sites on last row aren't really pull thru -- they are tandem. They were full up every night and we quickly discovered why -- the other 2 RV parks near... More

Our 2 day stay here turned into a 4 day stay because of truck issues. We were graciously left in our site even though it had been booked out to others for the 3rd and 4th night. They have good facilities, a games room, pool, laundry, dog areas and a well stocked camp store. Would have given a fuve except... More

We stayed in one of the camper cabins 2 nights. It's convenient to the Caverns and the staff was really friendly. The cabin wasn't ready when we arrived but we didn't have to wait too long. We used the pool once and it was nice. The grounds look well cared for. The biggest issue is their restrooms. They're clean but... More

Me and 12 others camped here for 1 night when en-route from Texas to Carlsbad Cavern. Campground seemed nice and tidy, the pitch we were given for our tents was really nice, freshly cut grass, was nice and relaxing. toilets/showers and shop just a short walk, and we had a little park right next to us too. was great for... It was clean and the people were nice. The kids had a blast playing on the grounds. They even escorted me to my spot. When i had problems with the power they sent someone out to help me. I would recommend this place.
