My husband and I stayed at this place and we loved it, here’s why: 1. Location: About a 25 min. drive from Asheville, 20 min. from Biltmore and easily accessible to the Blue Ridge Parkway. 2. Cost: One of the most affordable hotels in the area. 3. Cleanliness: Hotel is exceptionally clean. 4. Staff: Friendly and accommodating. 5. Breakfast: Very... More

We checked in this evening. Clerk was delightful and friendly and got a room on the first floor. After about an hour we heard those in adjoining rooms all around us run the water, flush the toilet and take a shower. It came from all sides. While the room was clean and comfortable, this was a problem. It wasn't just... More

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend in October - peak leaf season. The prices were much better than staying in Asheville. The room is a suite although there is not a door between the living area and the bedroom. There was a refrigerator and microwave. It was very comfortable. They allow dogs which was a big... More

I had a first floor room very near the lobby. The room was quiet, roomy and super clean. The front desk staff were all friendly and welcoming. I was there during the leaf changing season, and this hotel's location in the mountains has a breathtaking view. I did not try the breakfast so can't comment, there are a couple restaurants... More

This hotel is nice and the rooms are large and well decorated. Our room this time did need some attention on some small items. The bottom of the bathtub was cracked really bad and they had a mat to cover it up. I like a tub bath and I didn't feel good about using it for that. Also one of... More

This was are first time being in this part of the North Carolina mountains. We've stayed in Asheville, Cullowhee, Waynesville, Maggie Valley several times, but we wanted to do some hiking and stay someplace different. This hotel is very close to Dupont State Forrest where there are awesome hiking trails with beautiful water falls. The hotel also was close to... More

If you are a smoker, this motel is for you. There are several rooms that allow smoking in the room. We were in a non smoking room. We opened the door to our room, and the oder of cigarette smoke was in the air. I smelled a strong oder of smoke in our bathroom. I called the front desk to... More

Thank you for your feedback, both good & bad. We will pass on the kind words to our front desk staff. We are sorry that you were affected by our smoking rooms. We want to let you know that by next summer we hope to be 100% Non-Smoking. We have already DE-smoked some rooms & only have a few to... More

Spent one night here enroute to South Carolina. Our usual stop, Hampton Inn, was too pricey so we gave this a try. We were welcomed by a friendly front desk staff. Our rooms were huge. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was very good. The hotel was very quiet despite several kids staying there. We did not sample breakfast as... More

Our suite was by far the most comfortable we have EVER stayed - anywhere. For $100/nt, it compares in every way to luxury hotels costing $350/night. The hotel was quiet, convenient to shopping, expressways, and attractions. The staff was friendly and attentive to every detail. Included both Hot and Continental Breakfast items. Also offers Standard Rooms with upgraded ammenities.
