This location is absolutely wonderful. And we got a large room with a private patio. The problem is that the hosts don't seem very happy to be running it. They are new owners and indicated that they had no intention of running it - their son was supposed to. So the hostess never smiled, never introduced herself and seemed quite... more

An excellent B&B in every way. Quiet, comfortable, good bed, good a/c, excellent served breakfast, fair price. If I were looking for a place to sleep within a 50 mile radius, this is the place I'd go. I would have appreciated a walk-up computer for internet service. more

The SkyRidge itself was a delight, which was a bit of a surprise. Although the Trip Advisor ratings were good, Torrey is so out in the middle of nowhere, it was hard to imagine that the SkyRidge would be decent. We thought perhaps the good reviews were because the SkyRidge has little competition. The place is very nice. Our room... more

Our week long trip through Southern Utah brought us to the Skyridge on New Year's Eve. We booked the sagebrush room with a rate of of 142/night with a AAA discount. The room was lovely, with a comfy bed with a wonderful view of the Capitol Reef NP area, a TV with DVD player, southwest style antiques (though not fussily... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during the last leg of a two-plus week trip through New Mexico and Utah. The house is quite nice and in a very good location just off the main highway leading to and from Capitol Reef National Park, which is the reason we stayed in Torrey in the first place. Our... more

My husband and I just spent three nights in the Pinion Room at SkyRidge and were not impressed. There are certainly things to recommend it, but the bad taste that the proprietor left in my mouth really was difficult to overcome. In my mind, staying at a B&B is preferably really for only one reason -- the access it typically... more

We stayed a nite in September in the Juniper room. It was comfortable and the tub was a nice size. Showering in the tub in the morning was interesting since you had to hold the shower head with one hand. It was a quiet and nice stay. The new owners are getting used to their new place and only time... more

Myself, wife and 2 teenage kids stayed in the Tumbleweed room at the Skyridge Inn, during August 2008. This is the sole room that can accommodate 4 people, although the kids used the equivalent of a sofa bed / rollaway, which was quite satisfactory. You can see the room layout and furnishings in some of the attached photos. The owners... more

great place to stay in Torrey. Breakfast was very good, but would have liked options to the hot dish provided. Owners efficient if a little aloof at first. Lovely room with a great view and snacks provided late afternoon a real bonus. Would definitely recommend. more

We had a great two-night stay at this lovely B+B just outside of Capitol Reef National Park. The couple that run it do a great job. Beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfasts and just a great experience overall. We had the third floor room (Chamisa) - the room was huge and private. They also have serve hors d’oeuvres with sangria and iced... more
