We arrived at the Rimrock Inn late (9:30 pm) and were still able to have a bite to eat at the Patio Restaurant, which offered reasonably priced meals and great pizza. You can enjoy a game of horseshoes, darts or frisbee disk golf. Very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable. We slept 5 in our room and there was... More

Amazing service. Amazing location. There is nothing better than eating a meal with a prime view of capitol reef. Excellent food as well. If that wasn't enough there is a pizza, live music, and frisbee golf!

The room was perfectly fine, not glitzy, a great value. The guy at the front desk was very nice. The view from the porch was amazing. Make sure to ask for a room far from the internal laundry, although they did turn off the dryer for the night when I inquired about the noise. The free breakfast was excellent. Be... More

Room was clean and tidy, plenty of room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great views from the front of the rooms. Breakfast was as expected. Restaurant down the hill was very pleasant, great Pizza. We would stay again if in the area.

The location and view are outstanding. Upon arrival in the room we were a bit disappointed by the lack of a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave, but coffee is furnished in the "lobby", and that made up for the lack of a maker in the room. The breakfast included in the room price was delicious and hearty with a fabulous... More

Probably the grubbiest motel we stayed in. It wasn't filthy, but mold in the bathroom and round the taps, dust and hair behind the door and on the toilet roll holder, and just generally dated and a bit run down. However, the view is second to none, front and back. Breakfast was in the resturant - again, awesome view, great... More

The hotel is very close to the Capitol Reef national park. Nice views from the back deck. The rooms are very average, but OK for the price paid. The wifi doesn't work very well. Regarding the breakfast, if you don't like coffee or tea like my children, you will just be given a small glass of apple juice and be... More

Great water pressure, beds comfy enough. Nice, full, complimentary breakfast to fuel your tank for time in the great outdoors. Incredible views off the back deck. The staff was so friendly and accommodating (thanks, Christian and Sherrie!). John, the proprietor, will set you up right in the attached restaurant. Darts, horse shoes and disc golf course at The Patio (a... More

Decent rooms at a fair price. Closer to Capitol Reef and more serene location than motels in town, and cheaper than the Best Western across the street, with a better restaurant too. I actually didn't try the restaurant, but two of our party did and they loved everything they ate. We opted instead for Café Diablo, which even the Rim... More

I strongly recommend this motel if you like local places with special character over big chain motels. The rooms are just average, but fair for the price you pay. However the motel feels like the long red cliffs it a is part of. You are a part of this dramatic land rather than a viewer from a motel window. The... More
