I have stayed here several times in the last few years and it has always been a most pleasant experience. The individual log cabins are charming and all have an outside deck for relaxing in the sun.The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and the small microwave kitchens come complete with dishes and silverware. There is also a small... More

The cabin was large, clean and very nicely decorated. The people were very nice and location great. Free wifi was provided. No breakfast is available. The only two disapointments : the fridge and the AC module (like most of them in the USA unfortunately) were noisy. That is really bad as the purpose of sleeping in such a place is... More

A beautiful setting with an even more beautiful sunset. So very peaceful. Felt very much at home in our "tiny house" in their pasture. Quilts on the bed. Grill outside and basic kitchenette inside. View of the stars at night as fascinating and clear as the sunset. Very close easy access to Capitol Reef Park. And although quiet, not too... More

Very clean, really quiet cabins on a ranch 20 min from Capitol Reef NP. Great place to see the Milky Way from your porch. No maid service and no vending machines but a kitchenett and a coffee pot. You'll have to make your own bed and use your towel more than once or see the proprietor for fresh ones. Beautiful... More

We loved our stayed at cowboy homestead, and plan to return in the future. The owners are very friendly, and helpful. We were very satisfied with our stay. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. Which is just what we wanted after a day spent at capital reef.

The owner of these cabins built 4 on his ranch property--all have comfortable beds, good basic kitchenettes, and plenty of space. It is quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time walking around the owner's ranch and petting the horses and cows. The owner is friendly and fascinating to talk to--he has an amazing life story and it all fit... More

What beautiful country these cabins are in. And the host family are REAL cowboys. That was very exciting to me. The host, Don, went above and beyond helping us find a massage therapist. He actually found a therapist who came to our cabin (Massage by Melody). She did an excellent job and was very pleasant. I would highly recommend these... More

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary on a road trip and stayed here for 1 night, I wish we could have stayed longer! We prefer more unique experiences and loved this place, the location is on a family owned ranch, only 4 cabins can be rented so this is perfect for families or for a peaceful getaway...you supply... My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in early June. It was everything I expected and more. Quiet, relaxing, beautiful grounds, private and close to Capital Reef National Park. We even saw a bright double rainbow outside our door. An amazing sight. The cabin was spacious and very clean. Also an excellent value. Would absolutely stay here again!

We couldn't have been happier here! Don is so kind and warm and accommodating. The cabins--only 4 on property--are huge (2 of us), very clean, and fully furnished, with a nice porch and chairs/table. We loved the large bed (my husband is tall), and the peace and quiet of the area. We felt right at home. Would love to spend... More
