Well the staff is very rude! Very in professional here. The view is amazing. To bad the people that run this place could not treat people as great as the view. They could have a great business here. Bathroom shower is small. Be careful they are very strict here on things. Don't make a wrong turn you will get chewed out... More

Stayed at Thousand Lakes RV Park this past weekend and had a great time. The campground is in Torrey, UT and within a 5-10 minute drive from Capitol Reef. Nice shaded campsites, full-hook ups, a basketball court, pool, playground and general store. Would stay again.

I recently travelled with 3 kids and had planned to camp at Fruita Campground. We arrived around 2pm and the place was fully booked...this is one of the rare campgrounds where its 1st come 1st served. The camp host told me that they have been completely full most days by 10am. Whilst it looks great I was very happy we... More

The deluxe 2 bed cabin is very basic. If you are over 6 ft you will have to hunch over for a shower. The second bedroom is a loft which nobody can stand up in. The linen was all very old, and the sheets didn't even fit the bed properly. Not value for money. Wish we just stayed in the... More

Arrived late didn't feel like putting up the tent. Nice basic cabin with bed heat, electric and table chairs. Great value. Simple quick in and out. Showers ok lots of water pressure, little dated but ok. Nice to have sink and microwave in laundry area for campers to use.

On our big trip in the Western US we had one night at Thousand Lakes RV Park and were very pleasantly surprised. The park is set in very beautiful surroundings, and we got site no 14, in the corner of the park. A very private site with a direct view of the stunning landscape. So peaceful. The staff at the... Had a family reunion there and have never been treated so awful and with such attitude by such rude people! I wanted to relax but was on edge the whole time because of how the staff was so on us about everything. The pool, which is more like a tub insert closes at 7:30 and the kids were yelled at for... It's been 10 yrs. since we stayed at this campground. Trees are bigger to park under. Same friendly folks at the check-in. What has changed is; no more great muffins in the morning and cash only payment for AAA discount. If you use Good Sam and a credit card, it's OK. And the internet sucks. It took 45 min. to... More

Very good welcome, toilets and showers extra clean. The evening bbq seems to be very good (we didn't try it). Ask for a site with montains view, absolutely wonderful , we were alone with no neighborhood at site 11. Wonderful.
