Perfect location halfway Moab and Bryce, situated just outside Capitol Reef. They make fresh muffins every day which are great! The views from the park are great! There are too few facilities for the amount of guests.

Due to remnants of hurricane rain passing through the region, our camping trip had to be re-routed to indoor accommodations for a couple of nights. We reserved a camping cabin at Thousand Lakes RV Park. We chose the property due to its proximity to Capitol Reef National Park, pet-friendliness and the inexpensive price of the cabin ($35 and heated!). Upon... More

Stayed here overnight before visiting Capitol Reef. We picked this campground as we needed some small repairs on our RV, repair facility was next door. Campground has good facilities. A store, a small pool and a grass field for children to play soccer after a long drive. We had a gravel spot on the edge and loved the views at... More

We stayed a couple of nights at this place while visiting Capitol Reef. We had one of the tent sites. The wind-breaks were very nice. The grounds were clean and well-kept, as were the bathrooms/showers, pool, etc. The grass field was green and soft. Our kids loved having that to play soccer and Frisbee on. Of course the kids loved... More

This is a very nice place to stay. We stayed 1 night here in our RV as we were passing through from Arches to Bryce. We stayed here so we could get a quick view of Capital Reef and take our time on the drive to Bryce on Highway 12 the next day. The views are incredible. The have very... More

We had a full-hookup pull-through. The view was amazing!! Even when a motorhome pulled in next to us we still had a great view. The facilities were clean (the bathrooms were rustic, but still clean). The pool was great, although too cold for me to get in. At check in, we were told they had just put in a new... More

In June we stayed one night at the campground in Thousand Lakes. The people that worked there were all extremely nice and accommodating. We got some great hiking advice trail-wise and we learned a little about the area. They have a great shop there for food/supplies, and there's a Subway up the street if you just want someone else to... More

My wife and I stayed at Thousand Lakes RV Park & Campground for 2 nights this past weekend. We had initially reserved a partial hook-up site as all others were reserved, upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a full hook-up site as there had been a cancellation. The campground has great views in all directions, has a lot of... More

We stayed over the 4th of July, and spent one night in a tent and the other one in one of the cabins. The tent sites were all equipped with a fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin had a nice porch with chairs and also a picnic table and fire pit. We had our own bedding, but the... More
