My wife and I stayed at Thousand Lakes RV Park & Campground for 2 nights this past weekend. We had initially reserved a partial hook-up site as all others were reserved, upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a full hook-up site as there had been a cancellation. The campground has great views in all directions, has a lot of... More

We stayed over the 4th of July, and spent one night in a tent and the other one in one of the cabins. The tent sites were all equipped with a fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin had a nice porch with chairs and also a picnic table and fire pit. We had our own bedding, but the... More

We got into the camp around 9:00 p.m. by the time we finished setting up it was 10:00 p.m., my kids were sitting by our trailor wating for their dinner, they were giggling and they got yelled at.The staff there are very ignorant! My children were yelled at for not having a shirt on. My dog got out of our... More

Superb cabin! Well designed, private, spacious, clean, welcoming. Little town up the road has services. Pool felt great after a dry, hot day. The shop has good quality clothing at good prices. We were sad we had only one night here between Capitol Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in a deluxe cabin at 1000 lakes. The cabin was well equipped and very quiet even though it was the closest to the road. This park was clean and it was laid out well with lots of room for RVers and shaded areas for tents. They had a small store/gift shop. They offered... More

We spent one night here camping as we visited Capital Reef. The owners (on site) clearly care about the customer. They paid attention to lots of small details - smoothly raked tent sites, fresh homemade muffins each morning, cowboy dinners, nice gift/supply shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The baths and showers were a little dated (dark brown... More

The basic and super cabins do not have stoves. Only small fridge and microwave which defeats purpose of having a cabin. Our cabin was not very clean. The floors were filthy and threadbare towels. You can stay in a better hotel for the same or even less amount.

Stayed here one night while visiting Capitol Reef NP. great RV park and wonderful facilities. Staff is outstanding and very helpful, especially Hafdis. This park has about everything you would want and is very quiet since the highway it is located on is not a major one. Highly recommended. Also, Capitol Reef is a very underrated National Park. Not crowded... More

We stayed here for one night in an RV after visiting Capitol Reef National Park, which is just 12 miles away. The park is in a lovely peaceful setting, we had a fire outside and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Found the staff very welcoming, very nice showers and facilities.

Stayed at Thousand Lakes RV Park on a recent vacation to beautiful Utah and really enjoyed our cabin. Beautiful wood through out, large bathroom, and nice comfy beds. The scenery is beautiful and the campground was very quiet. The proximity to Capital Reef National Park was great and we enjoyed talking with the folks that run the campground, very helpful.
