We stayed a couple of nights at this place while visiting Capitol Reef. We had one of the tent sites. The wind-breaks were very nice. The grounds were clean and well-kept, as were the bathrooms/showers, pool, etc. The grass field was green and soft. Our kids loved having that to play soccer and Frisbee on. Of course the kids loved... More

This is a very nice place to stay. We stayed 1 night here in our RV as we were passing through from Arches to Bryce. We stayed here so we could get a quick view of Capital Reef and take our time on the drive to Bryce on Highway 12 the next day. The views are incredible. The have very... More

We had a full-hookup pull-through. The view was amazing!! Even when a motorhome pulled in next to us we still had a great view. The facilities were clean (the bathrooms were rustic, but still clean). The pool was great, although too cold for me to get in. At check in, we were told they had just put in a new... More

In June we stayed one night at the campground in Thousand Lakes. The people that worked there were all extremely nice and accommodating. We got some great hiking advice trail-wise and we learned a little about the area. They have a great shop there for food/supplies, and there's a Subway up the street if you just want someone else to... More

My wife and I stayed at Thousand Lakes RV Park & Campground for 2 nights this past weekend. We had initially reserved a partial hook-up site as all others were reserved, upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a full hook-up site as there had been a cancellation. The campground has great views in all directions, has a lot of... More

We stayed over the 4th of July, and spent one night in a tent and the other one in one of the cabins. The tent sites were all equipped with a fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin had a nice porch with chairs and also a picnic table and fire pit. We had our own bedding, but the... More

My children were yelled at for not having a shirt on. My dog got out of our... More

Superb cabin! Well designed, private, spacious, clean, welcoming. Little town up the road has services. Pool felt great after a dry, hot day. The shop has good quality clothing at good prices. We were sad we had only one night here between Capitol Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in a deluxe cabin at 1000 lakes. The cabin was well equipped and very quiet even though it was the closest to the road. This park was clean and it was laid out well with lots of room for RVers and shaded areas for tents. They had a small store/gift shop. They offered... More

We spent one night here camping as we visited Capital Reef. The owners (on site) clearly care about the customer. They paid attention to lots of small details - smoothly raked tent sites, fresh homemade muffins each morning, cowboy dinners, nice gift/supply shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The baths and showers were a little dated (dark brown... More
