We drove in the dark to get to the campground, but the owner left all the info on the door with our tent site and info about the camp grounds. This is a well maintained camp ground and the bathrooms are extremely clean! I recommend staying here!

My family stayed 5 nights at Sandcreek RV Park and let me tell you it was the best experience in UTAH. The whole experience was wonderful. Very Clean and well kept. The owner was extremely helpful and very nice. We stayed in one of the cabins which was large enough to hold our family of 4 (it could actually sleep... More

Very convenient to Capital Reef National Park. A small RV Park-owners were very pleasant. The lots are close together, and very thin gravel which made it dusty during dry or windy conditions. Nice views and clean restrooms, also a nice small laundry room. We stayed for a month in a 40ft motorhome, and would stay again if we were in... More

Thank you for the review Donna. It was nice to get to know you and your husband. Clyde misses his carrots and apples everyday. I'll make sure we put more gravel down for your next visit. Sincerely, Donna More

The town of Torrey comes across as a very sad little town. The RV/tent/camping park is in the middle of town. Lots of closed/boarded up places. The park itself was nice but the tent spaces way too close together. The fire pit of your next door neighbor is literally two feet from your tent and/or picnic table. Not much shade... More

I am just amazed that you can call the town of Torrey a sad little town. There is not one boarded up house on Main Street. There are a few pioneer cabins in Torrey that are not livable, that is part of the history of this town. Torrey is the gateway to Capital Reef National park and we are very... More

Quiet, simple, clean campground with lovely views of the mountains. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Not much shade, but that's the desert. Capitol Reef nearby is an outstanding park, don't skip it.

Capitol Reef campground was full so we wandered back to Torrey, Utah. Stayed at Sand Creek for 2 nights March 30, 31. Beautiful views, quiet nights and clean showers and bathrooms. They have full hook ups for $25-$30 for 2 people. Camping sites for tents are private with wooden fences giving privacy and wind breaks. Trip into Capitol Reef is... More

Mom and I stayed here for three nights in our small pop up hard side trailer. A little off and on issues with the WiFi when the place was totally full on Friday, but the crowds started leaving on Saturday and by Sunday/Monday the WiFi was working GREAT!. Bathroom was super clean and we had plenty of hot water when... More

Donna and Duane are very welcoming and accomodating. The site is close to several restaurants. What also makes the difference is that showers and restrooms are very clean (not often in other campgrounds). And finally the price is fair. We highly recommend this place.

This is a great jump off spot for Capital Reef and activities. The owners were really nice and accommodating. The site was quite reasonable for a very busy location! Thank you for providing reasonable accommodations!
