This hotel was pretty great for the price. It wasn't the cleanest but the rooms smell nice and are furnished simply and beautifully with authentic native rugs and woven baskets. It is older but comfortable. Who spends any time in their room with Capital Reef to explore? This area of Utah offers amazing hiking and outdoor amazingness for beauty-seekers! The... More

My son and I stayed here for a night during a road trip. If we had known how nice the accommodations were and how unfailingly nice the staff were, we'd have altered our plans and stayed another night or two. I have every intention of going back. The homey atmosphere, the picturesque setting and the proximity to parks and scenic... More

This was my favorite hotel on our 2.5 week trip. The place is charming and old fashioned. . The rooms are cozy, decorated in the southwest style. There is a restaurant with reasonable prices, and has a hot tub available which we used. Enjoyed it, was a nice change from the chain hotels. Homey and comfortable.

This small motel is very interesting, both from the structures and from the personalities you meet. The rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom/shower is minimalistic. And yet: the floors are hardwood with Navajo Rugs, the furniture has the same shiny hardwood, beds were good, WiFi is working well, the grounds are meticulously kept full of flowers. The Cafe is... We stayed here during an early spring visit when it was too chilly to camp. The room was basic, but comfy and very clean. The staff was friendly enough, and the location was very convenient. We never did get a chance to eat at the cafe. I would tell friends and family to stay here in the future.

Didn't stay here as we had already booked in at Torrey Trading Post but headed here for dinner. Decent food and an interesting building. I had a steak, which was good quality, but you may want to drop down a cooking grade as the medium I ordered was definitely well done. My wife had the very good chicken/ribs combo with... More

Torrey is a tiny town seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The Capitol Reef Inn and Cafe provided a diverse menu with fresh fruits and vegetables prepared by an accomplished chef! Kudos for one of the best omlets that I have ever had in a Restraurant. Wonderul

Booked this motel through TripAdvisor reviews. Was given single bed Room #4, but the small fridge was missing a shelf (I had food with me and needed that)... and asked if I could have another room. Was kindly given Room #5 which had two beds and a small window in the bathroom in back. That made a big difference to... More

the rooms are clean, decorated with a rustic style. rates don't include breakfast but are so reasonable you will have enough money to buy an awesome breakfast at the cafe that is attached to the motel. The cafe food is reasonably priced and full of fresh veggies. Great location just west of Capitol Reef National Park

Rustic, rich and remote. Not maintained to most standards but clean and romantic. Will definitely be back when opportunity knocks. Great food in the cafe and friendly locals. Appreciated the decor and relation to local heritage.
