I stayed here for one night with my wife and two daughters (ages 11 and 13). We got a two-bedroom cabin. We really liked our stay. The cabin was cozy and we liked having the little kitchen, especially the fridge and freezer. The wifi, like most places we stayed, was not great when everyone was on it at night. The... More

We stayed at Austins for two nights. We drove the scenic Hwy. 12 to Bryce, then did Capitol Reef. Each day we pre-ordered deli sandwiches to take to the parks. The motel itself was very clean and adequate. Breakfast at the store was very good and affordable. Consider taking the ride to Bryce...rte 12 has to be one of the... More

Ideal place to stay for exploring Capitol Reef National Park. Only about ten minutes from the visitor centre. Room compact but clean. Pool looked nice although didn't use it. Handy store and breakfast spot in front of the lodge.

My friend and I took a road trip through Southern Utah and choose to stay at Austin's for our night to be near Capital Reef. I made the reservation based on the rating on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The room was clean. Michelle at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We had to get an oil change and... More

We spent two nights here during our visit to Capitol Reef National Park. Torrey is the most convenient town to stay in for your visit. It is about 10 minutes to the Visitor Center in the park. The price is definitely right, the rooms are nicely updated and the bathroom was spotless. There are pretty flowers all over the property,... More

We are not used to staying at smaller motels that are not part of a chain, however this was a very pleasant stop between goblin Valley and Capital Reef. It was very clean and there was a cute little general store that you could pick up grocery items. The town is not large, but quaint. We enjoyed a nice evening... More

we stayed at the chuckwagon for one night in the family suite which is a little bit rustic regarding interior, air conditioning etc. kitchen equipment simple and already partially damaged. staff was very friendly. general store below had no beef at all - we planned on a little BBQ which we had to replace with some simple pasta. it´s OK... I was slightly reluctant to book this place, but it came highly recommended by some great people on Trip Advisor. You will have difficultly getting a room unless you book way in advance. This is an old fashion motel that still has it's charm. It is spotlessly clean with some new renovations (bathroom). The room rate was beyond reasonable. There... More

Capital Reef was one of the attractions we wanted to visit on our National Parks tour this summer and Torrey doesn't offer a lot of choice in terms of accommodation. I went with the reviews on Tripadvisor about this place and I am so happy that I did. I admit I prefer the luxury end of accommodation when traveling so... More

I rated this as an excellent, and that is based on its potential. It's not a Residence Inn on the beach. What it is is a very well run family owned place, and a place where the owner obviously takes pride in their business. The rooms were clean (for a hotel), and the coffee at the general store was a...
