Excellent location if you're visiting Capitol Reef National Park. Grounds around hotel need work (pool appears to be unusable) but the hotel itself is in good shape, very clean, modern and up-to-date. The continental breakfast was sparse but staff mentioned their shipment hadn't come in yet.

The Howard Johnson Capitol Reef Hotel was adequate for one night's lodging but not much else. The breakfast was really poor with half the equipment not working and the lack of breakfast selections. The people who run HoJo Capitol Reef made our stay. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The views and location just added to a great visit.
