Bed was comfy and a nice view of the mountains. The room was outdated and ugly. It's basically just a truck stop with a motel. The pool was empty. Breakfast was just fair -- hard boiled eggs had a green ring around the yolk. Too far to the little bit of town that exists -- next time I'd opt for... More

This place is at the west entrance to Capital Reef National Park which is a beautiful park. If you call early and get on the NE side your scenery will be great. This place is a part of the Days Inn system so breakfast is basic but adequate. The motel is fairly new and is nice and clean. The place... More

We stayed one night here. I know it's maybe minor but at the end few details made me give only 2 stars to this lodge as I had to stay fair to the other lodges which were better. We arrived around 1pm knowing that it's not the time to check in but we were not expecting to hear that as... More

Nice motel with spacious rooms with beautiful view to fantastic surroundings. This is the second time we come back to this motel in less than a year. The atmosphere in the area and the motel itself is wonderful. The reception area is welcoming and gives a good and serious impression of a well run motel. If they had made an... More

Many of the things mentioned in other reviews match out experience--breakfast was pretty minimal, finding the place is difficult (two miles East of Torrey on Highway 24), and the signage is confusing. The room was HUGE however, with a king bed, a sofa sleeper, fridge and microwave. The price, view, and surrounding area more than made up for glitches. This... More

We stayed two nights while visiting Capitol reef. We loved being close to the park but the room was dirty. Looking on the positive side it was dirt/dust dirty, no bugs or hairs. It appears they clean the rooms/bathrooms but not under things (like the beds or next to the fridge). I let my 10 month old crawl around and... More

Our search for lodging near Capitol Reef yielded this hotel; it met our needs: it provided a place for my family to stay while touring the area, but it really just had an overall run-down feeling. There was nothing overtly wrong with it, but enough small things added up to make it a "meh" location. Here's the list of one-off's... More

referred by tourist information centre . Clean enough room but would not stay again or recommend it . Overflowing bins at front door were still full the next day and waste sitting at stairwell . Staff were pleasant but unable to answer questions about area .

The trip advisor reviews made us a bit leery of this place, but it was perfectly fine. The view of Capital Reef National Park and the stars were terrific .The king bed room had a microwave and refrigerator and was fine for the two of us and our 50 pound dog. There was a place in the back of the... More

I stopped in at this motel on a Thursday while in Torrey, and needed to reserve a room for the following Sunday. Spoke with wonderful Lorelei who helps out at this motel (tho works at another), and she made a reservation for me. I really wanted to stay here for the view and tho she said she wouldn't be there... Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay here and our beautiful views. As far as my actions coming across as rude, I am sorry you perceived me that way. Our check in time is 3pm and when you first arrived at 12pm our housekeeper had not at the time finished cleaning all of the rooms... More
