My experience at Affordable ended up costing me an additional $200 more than the going rate. I had forgotten my purse in the dining room, and ran back ten minutes later, only to find it gone. I asked the manager and his wife or partner if they had seen my purse or if it was turned in. As they were... More

Having stayed at this property several times in the past when it was a Howard Johnson's, we were a little bit apprehensive about what, if any, significant changes had been made. Of course the one constant about this location is the wonderful views of the surrounding red rocks, hills, and mountains. The desk manager was very friendly and explained that... More

This motel could use a little TLC. Our 2 queen room was large and pretty clean. The vanity area was adequate. Refrigerator was large and had a little freezer-great for the ice packs. There was also a microwave. The beds were a little bouncy but ok for a couple nights sleep. There were definitely some cleanliness issues in terms of... More

The lobby looks fantastic. The guy at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful with the accommodations and restaurant recommendations. The rooms looked okay too. The beds were HUGE but just OK on the comfort scale. Pillows great. The sofa bed was horrific. We were by the boiler room at the end and we were kept up by the... More

We booked our room based on other reviews. At the time of booking I was offered a second floor room facing the red rock cliffs. Great offer! I knew the property had gone through a few name changes, those things happen. The property as a whole could use a little TLC. That said the room was clean, large, quiet and had extras... More

About the only thing I can say is that this hotel is near Capital Reef National Park. Although the sign says Affordable Inns on the outside, the lanundry bags in the room said Comfort Inn, and the scratch pads said Howard Johnson so wasn't sure where we were staying. Room was average although the vanity area was cramped and the... More

The hotel looked like it was going to be just fine and basically it is however there are a couple of really disturbing problems. In the bathroom, the toilet had not been flushed and there was refuse in the bathroom waste can. Other than that, the room was large and appeared to be clean. The bed linen was fresh but... More

First time staying at an Affordable Inn and it was very nice. We had a room on the back on the second floor with two queen beds and it was very quiet. The room was nice, yet basic, and the beds comfortable. Brandon got us 3 couples all checked into our rooms and gave us some recommendations for dinner. One... More

Perfect resting place after visiting Capitol Reef. The office staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was more than adequate Stayed just one night. Had a bit of trouble finding it. But worth the call to ask for directions. We'd stop again if we get back this way.

Room is made up ready for occupancy, but it's only 2:30 pm, and check in isn't until 3:00 pm. No Ifs, Ands, or Buts!! As a long time, extensive moteler it was only the second time I've experienced this type of low quality customer service. Motel owners are free to adopt policies as desired, but they should at least have... More
