We stayed here previously when it was a Best Western and I was surprised to see the change in branding. I have come to trust the Best Western brand for its consistently well-maintained and managed properties. This was a bit dated though and I am glad to see that regardless of the branding they are in the midst of renovations... More

I'm increasingly of the opinion that flying the flag of a major chain is no longer an indication of the quality of the property. This former Best Western is an example of a property that's better now that it's independent. I stayed here a couple of times when it was a Best Western and it was a little shabby, but... More

Great things going on at this already great location. Sprucing up is not only cosmetic but ecological and more comfortable. Instant hot water. Remember those monstrous clunks of furniture hotels put in in the 70's to house the bus sized TV's? Well, they are gone and instantly the room is twice the size! Elegant and simple. Comfortable beds ala Best... More

Nice lobby and friendly staff. The rooms are a bit dark. The breakfast on the terras is realy nice and the food was excellent. The free and large parking place in front of the room was appreciated. The hotel is in the middle of the town and a lot of restaurants are available. A large shop near the hotel is... More

Imagine, you wake up and from window you see all the red cliffs of the Capitol Reef. Or, just sit, sip your coffee and enjoy a great view. The location is very close to the Visitor Center (5 minutes of driving). Be ready to pay for breakfast (it's not included). The restaurant at the hotel gives you decent choice. We... More

This is a very nice place to stay - the rooms weren't overly large, but they were well appointed and nicely decorated. The towels were great - very thick for a motel, and the beds were very comfortable. It's a great place to stay to see the Capitol Reef area - close to the park and to the small towns... More

LOCATION Really easy to find as it stands alone on H-24, north-east of the town of Torrey and close to Capitol Reef NP. Quiet surroundings and a great view of the scenery. Pizza place opposite, but other amenities such as fuel are a short distance away in Torrey. MOTEL Large modern motel resort. Helpful reception, pool, hot-tub, snack machine, restaurant,... More

The location and facilities were excellent. The morning view from the deck of our first floor room was beautiful and absolutely breath taking. The hotel manager was very pleasant and helpful. We really did not have any complaints other than the attitude of the clerk at the front desk on the evening that we checked in. She was trying to... More

The hotel is a former Best Western. Nice rooms, ours had a balcony and a beautiful view. Breakfast was not included, but we had a very good breakfast at the restaurant that was on the property of the hotel. Room was clean and ok but we did have some issues with the tv signal. The maintenance guy responded quickly but... More

After staying at other National Park hotels, I did not have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. The outside balcony offered a nice view of the mountains. I had the best nights sleep of my entire trip at this hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of good items to choose from,...
