I had multiple problems with my key card not working properly (including at first being sent to a different room than my card was programmed for). In my two nights at the hotel, I had to go down to get the card re-programmed. At one point I was told not to put the card next to my cell phone because,... More

In all respects, this is absolutely a first class hotel from its service and cleanliness to its decor. I spent two nights at the Hotel in mid-July and while it is a bit expensive it is well worth it. The lobby and halls have hardwood floors and are decorated with beautiful Inupiat art. The hotel is spotless. The room was... More

I had a very nice dinner here on the 4th of July. They have a mixture of American cuisine, pizzas and Inupiaq cuisine. I had the Reindeer cheeseburger. It was fabulous! More importantly, the service was truly impeccable and the servers were very pleasant. I would highly recommend stopping in for dinner even if you are not a hotel guest.

Our stay would have been perfect. When touring KOBUK Valley National Park, the Alaska Air fights arrive at approx. 8 am and 7 p.m. Since my charter flight was at 10:30 to see the Park, we had a lot of time in a very small town both before and after the charter; we walked up to the Nullagvikhotel and asked... We arranged for a day visit to Kotzebue through the hotel manager Lisa. Our tour guide, Melissa, was an excellent source of information and very friendly. The hotel staff, including Lisa, Melissa and Harold were courteous and accommodating and made our visit to this intriguing town very comfortable. We also had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and the food... More

First thing is first, The general manager Lisa Wright is absolutely amazing! She's extremely kind, helpful with anything her guests need, and very knowledgeable! She's really why I gave this hotel an A+ rating. I stayed at Nullagvik for 3 weeks so I can't thank her enough. Overall, this hotel is extremely clean, most of the staff is very friendly.... More

The hotel is very nice and would be the same rating in the lower 48. The only reason I would not give it a 5 is because I could not get the room to cool off. It was about 5 degrees out side and a toasty 72 in my room. I sleep best around 64 degrees. I opened the window... More

Had a great overnight in the new Nullagvik Hotel. Wish I had more time to enjoy all the amenities they had to offer, weight room and restaurant. Staff was very helpful and full of info for the traveler new to the far north and it's weather. Well worth the price, which do to the costs of running a hotel in... More

Well, we arrived after coming in on the morning flight (monday morning) We were greeted by a not so friendly person at the frount desk (Helen). She was very short with us and took several calls while helping us even though there was a second person doing something behind the desk. Dont bother asking her what there is to due... More
