Quiet. Room was clean and quaint. Cable, fridge, ac unit, nice tv...bed was comfy pillows are thin and flat. Small bathroom. The towels are mix and match and thin. I had read on other reviews to bring own towel if thin towels are not to your liking. So I did and glad of it. The room over all was perfect... More

We found this motel when searching for dog-friendly places near the outer banks. We arrived to find a really nice woman at the check-in counter who told me all about her black lab that she loved. We checked into the room and found it very clean. It isn't a perfect room, but it is wonderful for the price we paid.... More

We stopped at several places & found the best price here. One other motel was comparable, but it was across the street from a noisy bar, so this was by far the better choice at just under $100 a night. 26 units are strung along a courtyard & there's a restaurant within easy walking distance. Small, clean room & bath... More

The main gripe is the price. In the shoulder season I expect more for my $100. I should have sensed something when I was asked why did I pick this place! Perhaps in peak season the price would be worth it, however, when the area is full of empty motel parking lots there is no argument. The carpet was grimy,... More

Stayed for a night over Labor Day weekend 2014 as we couldn't find a hotel in Nags Head that had 2 nights available that also allowed dogs. Stayed here one night and Fin and Feather another (see review). Our room here had 2 double beds, was immaculate, had a fridge and a new flat screen TV that hung from wall.... More

If you are looking for the Hilton Garden or Crown Plaza, this isn't it. But..... If you are looking for a value motel, close to the beach (Nags Head), in a neat town (Manteo), this is the place. My wife and I, guys I fish with, and also a group of guys I ride motorcycles with have been staying at... More

Our last trip was the fourth time we have stayed at this motel, and it will definitely be our last. The towels were frayed, the furniture damaged, the wallpaper was buckled in many places, and they didn't even provide shampoo. When paying over $110 a night I at least expect shampoo. When I went to the office to ask about... More

Just stayed here a couple of days ago and great price compared to those on Nags Head. It is quaint and yes old but they are updating a room at a time. Many of the rooms already have the outside door replaced and no longer have the window as mentioned in other reviews. Our room was room nine and we... More

My husband and I wanted to stay close to Nags Head while also saving some money. This motel located 15 minutes from Nags Head on Roanoke Island was the cheapest place I could find at around $105/night + taxes and fees (anything cheaper was a good 45 min–hour drive away). The staff called to make sure I would be checking... More
