This hotel's website is nothing but a pack of lies! And I truly believe any positive comments posted on tripadvisor have to be from management itself! The rooms are old and smell bad, the pool needs to be disinfected, the staff is rude and/or uncaring, and the list goes on! I was very pleased with the hospitality extended by the staff at the Elizabethan Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted and our host explained many of the sights in and around Manteo. The room was clean and overall service was above average. the price for a resort area was better than most and I would definetlt stay there again. more

The new owners have done WONDERS with this motel. New paint, nice homey touches show they CARE about the motel. I was AMAZED at how clean it was! In the past, I have been dissapointed, but decided to give it another try with the new owners. I'm really glad I did! more
