The room was clean and lovely. The gal that was there mornings and cleaned the rooms was so kind. However, the railing was not really a rail that would help a handicapped person up and down the stairs. Discovered a little "lip" that was helpful.

Our family had a great experience staying at the Roanoke Island Inn! The staff were amazing and the environment was unbelievable! We hope to visit the island again and soak up more of this great place!

Every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms were decorated with nice antiques and nostalgic photos. The pantry with 24 hour access was a blessing. A garden and koi pond that we enjoyed left us never wanted to leave.

I have been staying at the Bed and Breakfast for at least ten years. It is consistent and always comfortable. the staff is very accomodating. It is a place to enjoy whether you are on vacation or on business.

Room was very comfortable, though a little outdated. Floor could have been cleaner. Mimimalist room amenities. Snack pantry nice idea, but when we went into it at night, we encountered roaches. Setting is just beautiful. Would recommend, but only if you can get a much better deal than rack rate.

This is more of an inn than a B & B. Our room was in a section built about 25 years ago. The decor and furnishings were tired and dated. The continental breakfast had no personality and was less than what you expect at a budget limited service hotel. The room and service do not justify the rate.

Very quaint, relaxed, atmosphere. Convenient to everything for walking. Friendly staff.
