This is one of those places you don't want to tell people about, for fear that it will change. This was our second stay here - 8 years ago with the family, and last month with my husband. We were on the Cape in April and decided to stop at Colony of Wellfleet because it had been featured in the NY Times years ago and we were shopping for a summer rental. We had a great 3 nights here. Stayed in a 2 bedroom with our 2 kids. One day was very hot and wished we had a/c but we walked across street to the beach and it was cooler there. Cooler at night-windows all have screens so can leave open to get breeze. And units have oscillating fans to help as... More
