I had a quality experience at Gull Cottage B&B. The apartment on the second floor of boat house is small, but has everything you need. Clean, well equipped and maintained. The innkeepers are well-traveled, educated people, not pushy but if you get them talking have interesting stories to tell over breakfast. Speaking of breakfast - outstanding! Amazing fresh fruit and... More

This was my 3rd stay at Gull Cottage and it was as wonderful as the last ones! Pat and Randy are kind and generous hosts who are always happy to recommend local attractions or restaurants. Pat makes the most delicious, filling breakfasts, beautifully presented on their screened porch. I love walking to the beach or wandering the back sandy roads... More

Great place off the beaten path. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for a couple. I would advise against a third person - it would be tight. The owners are LOVELY. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Pat bought bran flakes for my husband because that's all he eats... More

Unfortunately, the road to Gull Cottage is a public town road and its condition is entirely up to the whims of the town of Wellfleet. We have no control over the maintenance of it or the effects of the weather on it. In our correspondance with our prospective guests, we warn them that the road is a challenge and that... More

Nature retreat it is, but Gull Cottage is much more. Pat and Randy have created a welcoming haven for visitors of every sort—fox, humming birds, screech owls, migrating Tennessee warbler, humans—all of us are happy to return. This is our third year. The property is unique. Where else can you find, not one, but two shimmering crystal kettle ponds outside... More

You're the only guests of Pat and Randy, staying in a large "boathouse" with a mini kitchen, deck, skylight and stocked with kitchen items and about 1000 books! The bed was extremely comfortable. Small private beach on Gull Pond, which is very beautiful. I would recommend renting a kayak to explore the three connected ponds or a Sunfish, all available... More

My wife and I have stayed here since it opened as a B&B and can't say enough great things about Pat and Randy. They are the perfect hosts. The location is very private and the fantastic breakfasts are what make coming here so enjoyable. Beautiful views from the breakfast table, great kayaking and swimming just add to the experience. Plus,... More

We have visited Wellfleet for years but never knew about this beautiful place located right at the passageway between Gull Pond and Higgins until found on TripAdvisor . The natural beauty of the place is stunning. We had kayaks delivered by Jack's rentals and kayaked early each morning and evening in complete solitude, accompanied only by Great Blue herons and... This is the third time I've been to Gull Cottage, and the magic of this place never wanes. Pat and Randy are wonderful hosts, the setting is tranquil and beautiful, the breakfasts are hands down the best breakfasts I've ever had at any B&B. You have access to a beautiful pond for swimming, and an entire converted boathouse that is... More

This is truly a special place. The sort that you want to keep to yourself. It was everything that's advertised and more. Pat and Randy are delightful hosts & know so much about the area. They treated us like family. We had one of the best stays in Wellfleet we've ever had. We hope to return next year!

We loved the privacy of the property. Being able to swim in the pond every day from a private beech was amazing. The Cottage was more than comfortable and relaxing. It had everything we needed. Best of all, our hosts were the most hospitable and friendly people we have met on the Cape... and we have been coming to the... More
