We just stayed at the Inn at Duck Creek for 2 nights. We booked it the week before and requested a room with private bath and A/C so options were limited but we did get a room in the carriage house. While I'd choose to stay in the salt works or main building next time , our room was quiet... More

My wife, brother, his wife and myself spent 2 nights at the Inn. We were doing 5 nights total in the Cape and this place came highly recommended by a co-worker. We didn't know much about the area and coming from Toronto the same day as our first night, we were really hoping it would not disappoint. It did not!... More

The inn at Duck Creek is visually enchanting, nestled by a pond (it use to have a giant duck in it) the place is very new england with one little secret "it's Haunted" Back in the late 70's i worked down the cape and had a friend who ran the bar at the Inn, late at night after many hours... More

When our children got older, we ventured to the Inn at Duck Creeke, and have come back for the last 5 years. Judy and Bob are friendly and helpful, we love the old New England charm of this colonial style inn. The unique decor in each room, good beds, back and front staircases, cozy breakfast room & porch, as well... More

Nice lounge and porch seating area downstairs. Rooms are very antique - like in character as far as both decorating (which I liked) and amenities (not so much). Good mattresses. Poor sound-proofing - I could easily hear the alarm going off in the next room. Only linens, towels, and hand soap provided - no shampoo, conditioner, etc. - and no... More

Having the privilege of vacationing on the Cape my entire life and having spent numerous long weekends at this Inn since my college days (early 1980s), I can honestly say it is truly a pleasure every time to return and find its essence virtually unchanged, and better for it. The main building is simply a very old house - anyone... More

Drawn by the charm of the captain's house, warm innkeepers Bob and Judy, close to ocean, ponds, bay, town & library, & good value. Cozy living room, WIFI, screened porches & large porch overlook Duck Creek. Don't expect tv, phone in room, but welcome respite from the usual & a refreshing vacation.

This is a nice b&b in wellfleet with easy walking to the downtown and a great restaurant and Bar, the wicked oyster, next door. We stayed in room 17, which I really liked. It was at the back of the structure near the rear parking and a large porch for lounging. This is not a state of the art B&B... More

The biggest problem with the Inn at Duck Creek is the people. The staff consists entirely of teenagers and although the guy on the reception is pleasant enough he doesn't go out of his way to help you or get to know you but the biggest problem is with the breakfast staff. Two different girls but both of them totally... More

Regarding the "teenagers serving breakfast", they are European college students in their early 20s visiting America for a cultural and work experience. They are eager and work to improve their English and are sometimes shy or slow in responding or understanding guests since English is a second language for them. The balance of the Staff consists of all over 40... More

Even by B&B standards these rooms are small and shabby. The bathroom was primitive and came with no amenities. Our room did not have AC. The breakfast was just OK. Coffee cake, bagels, fruit and yogurt. The owners were generally pleasant and helpful.
