Over night stay on our travels and loved the peace & quiet. Very spacious sites, clean amenities and receptionist was pleasant. The pool was inviting, internet was free and being a Passport America member was a very affordable stay.

My parents live close to this campground. We brought our trailer down for 5 days. View from the river can't be beat. The sites themselves back up to mobile home park and you can hear US 1 pretty good. Not sure I would come back here. Usually prefer something a little more serene. If you come in a tent you... More

I'm not an expert tent camper, I had a blast and thought the facilities were kept clean . We had 5 slots(164- 168) . If going with a group I recommend reserving 170 -168. 165 is really not shaded to well. Great pier to fish from . (Small boat launch) canoes-john boats. Bait shop and Publix are within 2 miles... Great place to stay short or long term. Sites are mostly shaded. Restroom/shower house was clean all week. Other than the occasional train throughout the night this is a very peaceful campground. Several campers had children and dogs. Never heard a dog barking or had parents yelling across the park at unruly children. We had a very relaxing week here.

Stayed here almost a week while doing a little fishing. Nice, shaded and clean. It was packed with people and it's not exactly secluded and private, but would go back in a minute and camp some more. A word of caution- check your reservation after you book online. I looked at several campsites online before I booked mine and it... More

This campground is on the way roughly half way between stops at state parks in St. Augustine and Jupiter. The sites are shaded, have full hook ups, and 50-amps. Laundry on site and there is a nice pool. Fishing off the pier, too. Some sites are pull-thru, so if you need one during the winter, it's best to book well... More

We have stayed here several times and we like it. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. We have been lucky enough to watch several launches from the pier and have always had a good time while staying here.

I had to stay for a three month period As I had moved to FL and the rates here are affordable during winter season.it was one of the worst 3 months of My life. The staff, except for Rob, don't do anything. The younger girls in the office are rude &! their biggest concern is cats not being on a... More

We have camped several times now at Manatee Hammock and have never had a bad experience...the staff is outstanding, the campground is well maintained and the location is close to everything...you can head over to the beach, have breakfast at the Port and fish anywhere...and if you time it right you may even be lucky enough to see a rocket... We were there this weekend, and although the majority of the sites were closed as the roads were being repaved we had a great time. Everyone one there was friendly, courtesy, and respectful. I noticed there were folks complaining about the odor, and there are times when you can get a foul smell off the river. But that was NOT... More
