This is an historic building that is like taking a step back into the children's book, Secret Garden. It is charming with lots of eclectic features to keep you looking around for a long time. Beds were very comfortable and the food was fabulous. Claw foot bathtub/shower was fitting, but probably not good if you have any handicap or balance... More

I took a group to the Space Coast and we booked several rooms in this B&B. Outer appearances driving up were not terribly impressive--no obvious front door, unclear where to park, etc., but once inside we found the place fascinating. It opened in the 1920's as a hotel originally, then served as a foster home in the 1960's up until... More

We very much enjoyed having your group here and really appreciated your organizing the visit! We did have a sign out front directing people to our parking lot and guest entrance, not sure where it went, but will be replacing it shortly! We have also added parking lot and guest entrance information to our confirmation letters to avoid confusion. We... More

Rather than spend the night in a hotel off I-95 why not drive 5 minutes East to US 1 and go 3 blocks to the Casa Coquina located behind El Leoncito restaurant. It's well worth the drive to have your own little apartment suite instead of one large room in a motel. The price is about the same. It's hard... More

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Coquina for several nights while working as a photo workshop leader at the Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival. The B&B is not only centrally located, the owners are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast each morning was great (they even got up early to accommodate my schedule), and if you are... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review! We really enjoyed having you both here. Getting up early was no problem as we often have folks in who are participating in early morning outdoor or Space Center tours, so we try to accommodate. We are looking forward to having you back soon!!! More

We stayed here for two days while exploring the amazing Canaveral Wildlife Reserve and Kennedy Space Center. The owners are lovely, caring people. It's funky place with really eclectic furnishings. The breakfast was hearty. The rooms are a bit tired. We stayed in the diamond room because of the views, but in reality, the room was dark, and the windows... More

Each of our suites is completely different. Some are very light and airy and others are of a more romantic décor. Although the bedroom of the Diamond Suite can be "darker" then some depending on how many lights are lit, there is more than adequate lighting to make it very bright. Our two suites on the 2nd floor that face... More

Suites for every guest. An apartment for dog lovers. Personal attention from hosts that have interesting banter. Greaaat service. Building is a grand dame with period furnishings. Each room more adorable than the last. Best private view of space shots ANYWHERE ... next to the blast zone. Not for the shiny, generic, brand spankin' new crowd. Loved it, it was... More

We spent one night, and spent so long at the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge the following morning, that we missed breakfast. The rooms are huge, and very unique. There is an odor to the place. In the reception area, it may be due to the cooking, as the kitchen is near. There was an odor in the room. I think... More

Thank you for taking the time to review! I am happy that you enjoyed so much about our décor. I am perplexed about the odor you reported as we have not noticed any, nor have any of our other guests reported this. We do take great pains to keep the Casa very clean, so I wish you had mentioned it... More

We had a wonderful stay in the Diamond room at Casa Coquina just before Thanksgiving '15. Ginny and Dennis were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area Breakfast on both mornings was excellent. Casa is a funky, family friendly B & B close to Kennedy Space center. We stayed in Black Pearl-an oriental themed suite w 2 bedrooms and 3 sitting areas. Our girls enjoyed using the binoculars on the balcony, feeding the fish, walking over the bridges in the garden (which would be great for a scouting bridge ceremony!) and Miss Jenny's... More
