Rooms were clean, staff very accommodating. As we attended a conference at Hubbs Research Center, the Dana was within walking distance. Spa was nice. Restaurants adequate. Loved sitting out looking out at boats, birds, passing walkers/runners. more

The Dana on Mission Bay is in a nice location. Great views of the bay, close to Sea World, downtown SD, and the beach. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and the service was great! The only thing is that the rooms need to be updated. You can tell that the hotel has been there for a long time... more

We live in San Diego and sometimes we enjoy an over night stay on the beautiful San Diego Bay. We have stayed at this resort a few years ago but they now have new rooms overlooking the bay. Do stay in the Premium Bayside Rooms. A very large room with a pull out couch, desk, flat screen TV and most... more

Very expensive hotel that didn't feel very expensive. Deluxe bayview room had nice view of bathrooms at neighboring city park. More view of bathroom thatn the bay. Toilets didn't work and no parking near room. Would not stay here again. more

We stayed in one of the newer park view suites. Room was quite large and very nice. We had 5 of us in the room, so had to use the sofa bed, and it was decent enough for the week stay. Bathroom was well appointed and large. The main beds were very nice and had nice linens. A few dishes... more

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding we were attending. The hotel is in a great location! Close to shopping, restaurants and right on the marina. The room we stayed in was nothing special, was more like a motel and very cheap looking. Bathroom was dirty and has missing tiles. There are lots of hotels in this area. I... more

Trust me, what you see online is NOT what you get. This property REALLY needs to tell prospective guests that there are two sections of this establishment, the motel side and the hotel side. The motel side is called Marina Cove. It is VERY old, run down, dumpy and about the size of my closet. It has an a/c unit... more

If you are looking for a great location, beautiful view, and decent price then you've found the right place. The Dana is a fabulous vacation spot. I've stayed there during 2 different vacations now and had a wonderful experience each time. I would recommend The Dana hands down over any other hotel in San Diego!!!! more
