My daughter and I stayed at The Dana last week for two nights. We had no reservations, and found it while surfing the net from the Seaworld parking lot. We thought we would drive over and if it looked good, we'd see about a room. The drive took maybe two minutes. Our room was on the main floor in the... More

the resort is very comfortable The staff was helpful and friendly, the on sight restaurants were great. We enjoyed a complimentary cheese plate before dinner with drinks at the Firefly restaurant before dinner. My only complaint was the adding of the resort fee and the charge for parking. Just add it on to the room fee.

Great place for a conference. Accommodations are nice, not stuffy or overdone, but peaceful, quaint and COMFY! Staff is wonderful. The best part is the grounds. SO BEAUTIFUL!! Great place to walk and unwind.

It isn't right on the beach, but overlooks the bay and the moored boats. The lobby staff were very welcoming and friendly. When I told the woman that I was in town for a funeral, she upgraded my room to a bay view, which was very kind. The room was nice - clean and seemed recently refurbished. Very easy access... More

I've stayed at The Dana 3 separate times, first for my wedding, 2nd for a long weekend and 3rd for a friend's wedding. All 3 instances have been a very positive experience. The front desk attempted to solve my booking issues and made up for my frustration by covering my parking and buying me a drink. Very much appreciated. Poolside... More

My husband and I stayed at The Dana for five nights and we loved the hotel. Our room faced the boats in the slips which was a lovely setting. The hot tub water was delightfully relaxing and the pool felt and tasted like salt water which was a treat. We enjoyed delicious appetizers at the Firefly restaurant and sat at... More

This is a nice hotel, rooms were clean and over looking the harbor (of course you paid extra for this ) This is not a resort by any stretch of the imagination...but then again they charge $20 per day for parking with the justification that you have to use your room key to access the parking area. Since the gate... More

First off, the nicest gardens around with beautiful tropical plants. The rooms are very good and comes in basic and the more upscale overlooking the bay - your choice. The biggest problems with this location is the $20 resort fee they add to your bill (per person). They rationalize this by saying it includes a shuttle to Sea World (we... More

Second year we've stayed here. I love the location and the place is beautiful. It's a little older but we think it's still awesome. They have rentals, bikes, jet skis, boats. Great place for a family.

My family of four stayed at the Dana on Mission Bay from Feb 3-9 in one of the rooms in the older part of the complex. While I was a bit worried about the "motel" appearance on the outside of the building, the guest room was spacious and recently renovated. The main pool area was really where the family spent...
