I needed a place to stay one night as my daughter was scheduled to be at an overnight camp at Sea World. I knew that I would be getting in late and leaving early in the AM, so I wanted a place near the park that was inexpensive. What made this motel appealing was that there was no deposit required... Wifi ok but dropped out every now & then (we were on top floor - level3). Didn't utilise the included breakfast as didnt notice the breakfast room until the 2nd morning; it is a tiny room opposite the checkin reception in an external building. Towels a but small and fairly thin. Bed comfy and lots of pillows which is great!

This place blocks web pages on WiFi. If you want to relax and stream movies or TV from your computer don't waste your time with this place. They claim free WiFi but they block sites so all you can really access is Craigslist and Facebook. Then when I tried to get a refund they told me that I cannot have... More

I have traveled all over the world and I have never been to such a sleeze bag hotel as this totally disgusting, gross, filthy, hotel. Toilet seat was leaning against wall. Don't walk barefoot for there is nothing but slimy greasy carpet and tile floors. What was even worse was seeing all the Prostitutes coming and going. I really felt... More

Room was very dirty. Sheets had existing stains on them they smelled clean though. There is 2 strip clubs on the block (One directly across the street) Check in staff was rude when we checked out they were a little nicer. They charge you $100 deposit and a $2 utility charge at check in it was $75 a night. They... More

After reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised:) Alberto was very friendly, the room I had for four days was spotless, the bed was great, the pool and hot tub were nice, the location was perfect. Yes, it is an older building, but for $40/night in San Diego so close to the beaches and Sea World...I had a great time... More

This hotel is what I already expected, with the price of $40 per night, cannot really argue. Though I don't like how they have the "energy fee" charge of $4, I mean you might as well include that with the rate. The room was alright, again, I didn't expect much. However, the towels are REALLY rough, it's like I'm rubbing... More

The front desk clerk Roberto was incredibly rude and very unhelpful in explaining a $100 deposit I was not aware of. Towels were stained and smelled, bathroom counter was visibly dirty. Find somewhere else to stay.

Tried to get an early check at 1230, was told not possible and that I had to come back at 3. There were 2 cars in the parking lot which didn't make any sense. Front desk clerk was rude, beds lumpy, floors unstable. Fridge and microwave were unplugged, batteries dead in remote, AC grill hanging off. Went to get coffee... More

Bed is hard as a rock, towels are dirty. Old dirty building. I had do not disturb sign on and maintance still came in. However much better to stay in this area than hotel circle if you are going to SeaWorld or Mission Beach, but other hotels in area are nicer and charge the same.
