My husband and I recently stayed at the Bahia Resort for a business/leisure trip. Upon checkin we were upgraded to a suite overlooking the bay. The room was modern, spacious and clean. The large balcony was a great place to view the Sea World fireworks in the evening - which were beautiful reflecting off of the water. As a guest... more

Pros: It's a good location to Sea World and Beltmont park, and next to the bay. You get nice views if you have the bay view room. Price is cheap for the location, but there is a catch. Staffs are friendly. Cons: Believe whtat everyone said about outdated rooms. The carpets, beds, and curtains are very old. There are cracks in... more

We've been to this hotel twice now, and have enjoyed both visits. It's a bit old, but not too pricey and the rooms are very large. I like the kitchenettes in the rooms and the views of the bay. We ate at the restaurant once and were treated very well. Decent food. Didn't have much to do with room service,... more

Great location and complex which makes up for it being an older property. We could have stayed right there and not done anything else in San Diego. Super friendly staff as well. Nice sized room which was great for our family so we didn't feel like the 4 of us were right on top of each other, more

But i think it could have been our room was in the shade, felt a bit damp and musty, but we got used to it. It was clean and the bathroom was very good. The restaurant was very nice but no change in the menu, was good food and plenty of it though. The pool looked lovely and the whole... more

We booked this hotel on a recommendation of a friend. We booked through a travel service and pre-paid for 5 nights. We only stayed 3. We booked a kitchenette room. We were in the fourt story building at the end of the property. When we entered the room, we noticed a musty smell. We then discovered that the toilet was... more

The Bahia is a place that must be experienced. The emphasis is clearly on RESORT with delightful results. The staff is exceptionally courteous and able to assist with a wide variety of requests. The rooms are immaculate and spacious. The Bahia provides an atosphere that is unique from the cruise of the bay to the beautiful grounds. I found some... more

Every staff member is an asset to the Bahia, friendly, efficient, helpful, courteous. They take care of the resort as if it is their own home and treat you as a welcomed guest. The grounds are beautiful, the dining delicious, the bar a quiet yet fun spot, it is just a short walk to the ocean, the rooms very comfortable.... more
