I took my wife to this Hotel for her B-Day. We planned to stay for 3 nights but checked out as soon as we could. The hotel was quite old and very overpriced. The staff was unwelcoming and very unaccommodating. The place was dirty and full of questionable characters. At times, Marijuana smelled throughout the hotel premises during the visit.... more

If you have stayed at a resort before, you may be dissappointed. The rooms havent' been renovated or revamped within 5 years or longer so that takes away from the hotel right when arrive. For the price you are paying you expect up to date decor. Also there is one resturaunt and one bar at the resort and a small... more

We stayed here for only 3 nights (thankfully), it was reccommended by Air New Zealand when we booked other accomm, but it was terrible. We had stayed at the Howard Johnson, anaheim which was lovely. We found this VERY dated, the room was at the back of the hotel on the bottom floor, it had floor to celing windows with... more

This is one of the worst hotels my family has every stayed at. Our room was filthy. The carpets were black and if we walked in our bare feet they turned black. At night the cockroaches came out. After killing 2 and seeing 6 more we called down to the front desk and they offered to spray our room. We... more

We love to stay at the Bahia every year. The kids love to swim in the huge heated pool! We also are impressed with the size of the rooms and always get the Bayview Suite. Its perfect for our large family of 6. We also get the bonus of watching fireworks from our balcony. We will be back again soon! more

From beginning, (making reservations) to the end, (both check out and lunch after lunch closing time), our experience was a sound investment of our time and money. We were pampered, needs met before we could finish making our request known. Our son's reception was awesome. The serving staff was both friendly and attentive. Because of the late night reception the... more

Bahia is the finest hotel experience I have ever had in the continental US. The service and friendliness of the staff is outstanding. The facilities, location and activities are all five star. Wonderful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere and great location to walk to the Pacific ocean beach or catch a bus to Old Town or Downtown. definitely the place to stay... more

We stayed for a week in one of their Marina Suites, which was a nice size for our family of 3 and our dog. The hotel just became pet-friendly and we were happy to be able to stay there with him. The location is great! We went on daily walks and bike rides along the beach and bay. We knew... more

When choosing a hotel in the San Diego area I did a lot of research to find the perfect hotel for my family to be near the water. After finding the Bahia Resort and carefully viewing their website, I thought it would be a dream vacation stay. This was not the case, however. The property itself is not nearly as... more

The Bahia Resort hotel is located in a very nice, very accessible part of Mission Bay. Pacific Beach is a short walk away and there are several activities located right on the hotel property. The pool was a little cool, but my kids loved it and my wife and I enjoyed a leisurely swim as well. The hotel was quiet... more
