I had booked my hotel room 3 weeks prior to my travel date (7/4/09). We got to the hotel early and asked if we could check-in early or leave our luggage because we had tickets for the baseball game. The valet person that greeted us said they were booked and turning people away even if we had reservations. We proceeded... more

The service at the Bristol Hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and willing to help in any situation. The hotel is in a good location for public transportation with the trolly line on one block and several major bus routes located on the other block. The train station is one or two trolly stops away from the hotel.... more

Across from bus station but no big deal. Walk on block to large mall, 3 blocks to gaslamp district, bus stop around corner, trolley around other corner. Bus #7 to Balboa Park. Room spacious and clean. Nice touches, like i pod stand and robes. Lobby nice with computer. more

I went to San Diego for a conference and was very happy with the hotel. It has a great location, right in the center of San Diego in walkable distance to the convention center. The hotel has a beautiful decor, the rooms are comfortable and very clean and the staff very friendly. Perfect place for a business trip! more

We arrived at the Bristol directly from Switzerland, after a very long trip. The reception was so nice, they even gave us an upgrade to a deluxe room! We just loved this hotel. Although the buildung is older, the rooms are renovated. I really liked the decor and everything. Our room (a deluxe room with a kingbed) was spacious. The... more

Hotel is located witin in a 1/2 a block to the mall and tons of restaurants. We stayed for two days over the weekend and got a great internet price of $120 a night. For that price we had low expectations but were SUPER happy with what we received. The hotel is older but has been made over nicely. Lots... more

The Bristol is right in the centre of San Diego and is very convient for sightseeing. The main thing that sets this hotel apart from the others is it's funky decor. OK maybe not high on people's wants when choosing a hotel but it definately added a dimension to our two night stay and made it truly memorable. Look for... more

Stayed here five nights for a conference at the convention center. Had a room with two double beds as I was sharing a room with a friend. She found the room online and we both couldn't have been more pleased. A great hotel, the rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, wireless internet was very fast,... more

We got a great price on a Superior King Bed room from Travel-ticker.com It is quaint, very clean and has great amenities. The room is a nice size, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size. We stayed there the night before driving down to Mexico, and then stayed there again before our flight back... more

This is a gem! We always stay in the GasLamp district when we got to concerts in San Diego. I found this one and expected it to be a dump, considering the price ($129 on a weekend in the Gas Lamp.) When we got there I couldn't believe how cute and nice it was! It was a cute boutique hotel... more
