This is great place though not "POSH"...Recently stayed here for 7 days... Suite rooms are absolutely HUGE. You feel more like you are in an apartment rather than a hotel. I expected better from a Hyatt subsidiery (sp?). The rooms are spacious and generally clean. However, the kitchen is only adequate. For a chain that gears itself to long term stayers, a dorm sized refrigerator with a minuscule freezer is hardly sufficient. The staff is ridiculously not customer service oriented. I understand the complaints--I've stayed there three times now, twice on business and once with my son, and the first time my reservation was completely wiped out of the computer. However, on every occasion the rooms have been clean and spacious, the staff in the breakfast room agreeable and the hottub enjoyable. Their staff is not always the best trained... more

We had booked 3 separate rooms through the Hawthorn Suites web site for three of us on a business trip. All rooms were requested non-smoking. The room was very large and clean with a nice kitchenette. Was on 3rd floor and it is far enough from the interstate that it was very quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet and close to all attractions. Not a 4-star but very confortable for the price. We had a great stay. more

I am a contractor and stay 3 weeks to a month at each stay. I'm getting used to this chain. They are all a little problematic. Food is not the best but its free, the mon-thurs happy hour is a nice return after a day’s work. And NO add-on’s that many hotels are asking, Parking fees and charging for internet.... more
