Made reservations over the phone as a graduation gift for our daughter. We would not be traveling with her so there were many details to work out. Staff was wonderful and had all the answers. The Kona Kai was a very clean and friendly hotel. Trudi at the front desk was wonderful in getting us set up in a great room. My family enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The lobby is beautiful. Checked in around 9pm for a conference the next morning. The room faced the marina with a tiny patio and little sand area with view of yachts. Got this hotel using priceline for $69 a night. We received a room facing the bay at first, but request a room facing the he marina. Front Desk was very nice and sent a new room key to us for a marina facing room. Beautiful view of the marina and all the yachts. Beds are okay, not bad or great.... more
