The first time I stayed at the Country Inn was in 2003; My brother had just graduated boot camp and we needed a place to stay near Parris Island. Even though the area wasn't that great, we loved the Country Inn. From the moment we walked in, we felt very welcome. When we needed a place to stay in, or... more

Difficult to put this hotel down. We paid a low price on priceline. Was given a room on the second floor at the very end. Mostly positives:The room turned out to be very clean and functional. Parking was free, was able to park the car just below our window. Wireless Internet is free and worked fine. There is a complimentary... more

We have stayed in everything from Four Seasons to motels, but usually prefer Marriot, Hilton or something in that range.Great experience. We paid $119 for a suite, two rooms on Travelocity. Some rooms have a living room and seperate bedroom which they call suites. Check prices because I noticed a wide variation depending on which site you use. A little... more

My family stayed here for 4 nights and I can say we were not very impressed. We originally booked a suite only to find out that all suite rooms are located next to the very noisy ice & bevarge machines and the elevators. They offered up a move to a regular room as a compromise and told us they could... more

After reading reviews of this hotel, I was looking forward to my stay, the price was fairly reasonable for a San Diego hotel. The selling points for me were the free parking and the free breakfast. And in that respect, it was fine. However, the room that we were given wasn't cleaned very well. The toilet was filthy, room wasn't... more

I booked this motel through priceline with fees and taxes for $68 a night - great deal. Rooms were clean, but a little worn. The bathroom had chipped tile and a little mold on the bottom of the shower curtain, but for $68 - can't complain. Great continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again at this price. more

We loved it!

This hotel is away from the main tourist spots but just about 15 minutes to everything by car. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They supply two water bottles each day for free, plus coffee & coffee maker in room. They also have free cookies & fruit at the front desk in the afternoon. The... more

This hotel chain is probably the best kept secret out there. Their service is wonderful. Employees always smiling making you feel at home. I stayed at this hotel with family and all of us enjoyed their fantastic service. The great things about this hotel is the free hot breakfast, free internet access in the rooms and a computer terminal by... more

I am very happy with the Country Inn and Suites. I got the room by booking on priceline for only $60 a night for one week at the end of March. On the outside, the hotel doesn't look like it will be as nice as it really is. When you walk in the lobby you are welcomed with a warm... more

My husband and I were on a business trip to San Diego March 23, 2007. Our hotel choices were Holiday Inn and Country Inn and Suites. Holiday Inn was $149/night and CIS was $139 plus breakfast. We decided on CIS since breakfast was included. We were very skeptic to order room service due to the lack of food we have... more
