“Excellent place to stay”

We spent 3 nights here after a conference in downtown San Diego. We switched to Country Inn and Suites because the price was excellent and it is not very far from downtown. The breakfast was great and I loved the fire place with an area to sit, relax and visit. Room accomodations were very nice without the high price!

Some times I read ratings on various travel or restaurant sites, and I get mixed signals. Is the place being reviewed as good as they said, or, in some cases as lousy as described. This hotel is great. The very best in it's price range. Free Parking. Free Internet. Free Breakfast. I'll stay here again.

A lovely property, tastefully decorated throughout and having the advantage of a restaurant and bar on site. Staff were friendly and efficient.The room was modern, comfortable and quiet. The complementary breakfast was excellent. We ate locally at the Wine Seller & Brasserie and, although a little difficult to find, was well worth seeking out.

I stayed here last weekend while in San Diego for a family reunion. I was very pleased how comfortable, quiet and clean it was, especially for the reasonable price. The front desk staff were helpful and unflappable, too.

“Nice clean safe”

A nice, clean, safe hotel in a business area. Nice lobby and nice rooms. Nothing too fancy or extravagant but rooms are a good size and bathrooms do the job. We decided to stay here rather than pay to park in downtown and it was more than sufficient. Very nice breakfast, free parking and Internet.
