We had 15 women stay at the Vagabond while we attended a conference at the Cox Arena. EVERYONE loved their rooms! It was just remodeled with microwave, refridgerator, complimentary breakfast - and the staff was very helpful and friendly!!! It was a great deal for the price! more

The staff was pleasant; they allowed my folks (handicapped) to stay on the bottom floor where the room opens on to the pool deck. The rooms were as clean, the service was friendly. Swam with kids in the pool. Rates very competetive; close to good food and sports facilities, entertainment facilities. more

Rooms were spacious and clean. Property well kept up (Including grass and flower beds). Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, juice, coffee and fruit--quite good. The only thing that this hotel has going for it is location. I woke up with back pain two days in a row. They supposedly spent 5 million dollars on renovations and the only thing that is noticeable is the marble countertops in the rooms. All this hotel is a modified motel 8. Vaabond Inn is the most peaceful and quiet hotel located in this area. It's location is absolutely marvelous as you can get to anywhere in San Diego in less than 15 minutes from here.
