The Lafayette has undergone considerable renovation, and the process is not yet complete. The color schemes are lovely. I stayed five nights with a large group of people. The taco bar was great - freshly grilled beef and chicken. Meeting room nice. Rooms newly remodeled and very modern and clean. Slight issue with staff response to a problem. Overall a nice stay. Looking forward to staying here on my next visit to San Diego. More

We stayed here for my 40thbirthday because the Bar we had my birthday at is across the street, no drinking and driving for us. We rented 9 rooms and we were all satisfied. Great breakfast in the morning. Old Hollywood greats used to Stay here back in the day, frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Bon hope, marylin Monroe. Newly remodeled!!! More
